Using local ingredients with Italian influences, Terra is Eataly’s premium wood-burning grill restaurant located on the third floor of Eataly Silicon Valley. Named for “earth’ in Italian, Terra's menu features the season’s best ingredients cooked simply over open flames. Its food meant to be paired with an inventive botanical cocktail and enjoyed outside on our expansive shaded patio.

We hold the table for a grace period of 15 minutes before offering the reservation to our waitlist.
Parties of 7-10 people are required to make a deposit of $150.00 and parties of 11 or more, email esv-privatedining@eataly.com to secure the date.
There will be a $20 per person charge for no shows or cancellations without 48-hour notice.

It was our first time eating here, though I've eaten at Eataly in LA. I have purchased food at Eataly Silicon Valley. The atmosphere was bland, with weird patio chairs, dark decor, and music so loud that we couldn't hear our waiter. We had to turn the lights on our phones to see the menu. The salads were way underdressed, 2 of us had polenta -- fair at best. I had the cavatelli which was good. The drinks and wine were tasty. I'd be very reluctant to eat here again.

Food is only fair and feels like the kitchen doesn't attempt to make an attractive dish. The singer (on a Sunday afternoon was not good ) and it was a very loud and did not allow easy conversation. The restaurant is expensive for the quality and amount of food.

We had a beautiful experience yesterday at Alpina/Terra! Our meal was fantastic: we started with a hot cheese fondue and housemade focaccia, followed by an authentic Italian dish called canederli, which I’m pretty sure you can’t find anywhere else. We also had an amazing polenta with American Wagyu wurstel. Since it was our Valentine's dinner, we ended our meal with the special dessert, which was absolutely delicious. Our server, Joseph, took great care of us. We’ll definitely be back!

Went for a birthday dinner, and the place was busy on a Saturday night. Noise level was very high...too much for me and family. Hard to talk. Service was very good with explanations of the menu. Food was good, not great . The wine list prices were ridiculous for a place in the mall. I didn't see a lot of tables with wine, which I understand now. Food prices were on the high side also. The kale salad was barely dressed, almost just raw kale, we had to ask for more dressing on the side. No salt or pepper shakers on the table...I suppose they think they get all the seasoning correct, (they didn't). The overall was Ok, but for the prices they charge for a meal, it will be a long time before we go again.

$65 testing menu for 2 was more than enough. For future will also need to order some additional meat/protein.

Food was good, however, my chair was facing in front of a blinding sun, it hurts my eyes, could not enjoy my meal anymore because I had to cover my eyes. This happened at the middle of our meal. When I complained, the server said there is nothing he could do.

The food is incredible. The broccolini was the star, but everything was so delicious. The tiramisu was out of this world. Service was how it should always be, top notch.
