TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

    Food was good but unnecessarily expensive. Server seemed to be pushing to have us in and out quickly. Even took away my $20 drink before I was done with it. Ambiance was nice. Food came out in a timely manner.

    We love the vibe of this restaurant! Our request for a booth was honored. Hostess’ very welcoming. Music just loud enough, food and drinks are great. Saki was our waitress, she was very attentive and although very busy ( which is a good thing for the restaurant) she was very personable. My husband and I dine for experience and this was a very good one☺️

    Tao Mohegan Sun is a perfect place for dinner before a show. Delicious and well-presented food. The orange chicken was delicious, especially with a side order of Jasmine rice. I asked for extra orange chicken sauce to use on the rice. Our Salmon order was also very tasty. Service was quick and above par. Music by an in-house DJ was super loud. Song choices were nice but created an atmosphere that felt like we were at a club at 2 a.m. on a Saturday.

    Disappointed with food. Pad Thai was overly sweet, spare ribs all fat, gyoza came out dry and with no dipping sauce.

    Food was amazing, service was top shelf and ambiance was perfect to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary. Our fourth time here and I love Tao even more .

    Love coming to Tao, service is always phenomenal and it’s such a fun vibe. We got the orange chicken and miso glazed cod this time and they were 10/10!

    The food was delicious along with the drinks. The service exceptional!! We had 5:00 reservations and sat right down - no waiting - it was great!

    We enjoyed the restaurant but it was my wife’s 50th birthday. We purposely chose Tao and thought there would be some acknowledgement of her birthday, and we didn’t receive anything. We did see another patron’s birthday be recognize we thought we would receive the same treatment, but it never happened. We don’t get to eat out often and it’s very expensive, we just thought there would be something. I did let the staff know via reservation and when we arrived.
