Takewaka Ikebukuro features multi-course kaiseki cuisine. Appetizers include fresh raw and cooked fish, vegetables fried kakiage style, tempura, shumai and crab croquettes. Entrees include duck stew, boiled pork, grilled chicken, Wagyu steak, grilled conger eel, tuna/octopus/tomato carpaccio, avocado miso, sea bream rice with green tea and cold udon. For dessert, there is a set of Japanese sweets, which includes matcha. Fugu can also be obtained in season at Takewaka Ikebukuro.
