Tablao Wine Bar & Restaurant is a taste of Spain featuring an authentic tapas menu, global wine list, and live music. Tablao’s high energy fuels the block with its indoor/outdoor dining and active bar scene. Sangria, mojitos, and caipirinhas share the stage with Tablao’s extensive wine program which feature such favorite Spanish varietals as tempranillo, verdejo, albariño, and syrah. With over 30 tapas to choose from as well as traditional Spanish dishes, customers rave about the inspired land and sea menu which includes; beef empanadas with garlic aioli; cheese croquettes; hanger steak with green chimichurri; tortilla Espaňola; sautéed shrimp with garlic and guindilla peppers; classic paella, and a mixed grill of seafood or meat.

Always a lively experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was great except the Tres Leches, a bit dry and the custard sauce was flavorless. Everything else was delicious.

Shellfish in paella smelled like ammonia. Atmosphere is ok. Service is ok. Expensive for food quality.

Well we went for tapas and let me say they are pretty small so to me that was a bit of a joke. Service was good and attentive. Place is nice my drink was good but I wasn’t happy with the portions and honestly they weren’t great either. Artichokes I could barely taste there were maybe 4 and not even a whole heart. The gnocchi couldn’t even taste it there 5 like really! The braised short rib was good and the eggplant. I’d have to have an entree to know if the food is good. I’m most likely never going back thought not in my area

The atmosphere is hopping. The bar seems quite popular and the tables were full and animated. The servers were so busy taking care of customers and checking in, I kept bumping elbows on them. The servers really hustle here. All the food was delicious. I loved the eggplant napoleon, but I could’ve ordered 10 other tapas on the menu and been very happy. Will definitely return.

Some delicious tapas! The duck and lamb chops were terrific. And the chorizo was great, with it’s very tasty bed of white beans. We enjoy eating a lot of small portions of a variety of things and Tablao does that very well. We’ll be back!

I was just back from Barcelona less than 24 hours and had local tapas 2 nights before! Tablao was on par. My friends loved the chicken scarpariello tapas the best. The Tortilla Espanola was also very good. Definitely coming back for Tapas Tuesday soon.

Group of 8 met for dinner before the show at Ridgefield Playhouse - food was good, staff was friendly and attentive, and atmosphere was very nice and relaxed.

I can't stress enough how fantastic the food, drinks, and vibe are at this place. I've been to their Sono location, but the Ridgefield location is definitely the best. The fish croquettes, garlic shrimps, hanger steak, and Spanish stuffed peppers were all bursting with flavor. Kudos to the chef for single-handedly cooking up these dishes. A big shout-out to Paola, who was super attentive and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. I will definitely return again.

Tablas is a favorite of ours. We shared small plates only. The short rib and the duck breast were outstanding! I loved the cheese croquettes ! We a.so had the the fried Calamari and a seafood empanada, which was a special. Both were good. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well presented. Service was excellent.
