Nestled in the heart of Columbus’ historic German Village, 262 East Sycamore Street has been a gathering place for family and friends for more than a century.

Drawing inspiration from the casual, laid-back elegance of Europe’s all-day cafés, Sycamore is based on our love of neighborhood restaurants that weave themselves into the rhythms of our day to day lives.

Stop by in the morning for expertly crafted espresso, freshly baked pastry, or a light breakfast. Take a mid-day break for a salad, sandwich, or small plate. Join us for dinner and enjoy our menu influenced by the changing of the seasons, featuring local and sustainably sourced ingredients prepared simply and elegantly.

And our bar’s always open—with its thoughtfully selected list of cocktails, wines, beer and spirits—for a late morning pick-me-up or afternoon aperitivo, to an evening celebration.

From service to the food everything was amazing! Might have been one of the best dinners I’ve had in awhile! Can’t wait to go back!

10/10 experience. Our waitress, Taylor, was phenomenal. Her recommendations were perfection. Our drinks, apps, entree, and dessert can out at just the right time. Go to date spot when in town.

Adorable atmosphere in an old brick building. Our server was awesome and all the food was great. The garden pickle salad is the most beautiful salad I’ve ever seen. The black bass was super good and apple pear pie was delish!

Booked a table a few weeks in advance for my second wedding anniversary. Long story short, we weren’t seated for our 7pm reservation until 8pm. Not sure what happened or if they over booked, but we we were left standing waiting for around an hour for our table. Others had waits for their reservations but not nearly as long as ours. It was disappointing to say the least, especially since we were celebrating an occasion. We weren’t spoken to by a manager or anything either, they just offered us a “free appetizer or dessert” and it was never acknowledged that we were celebrating our anniversary. Really disappointed with the overall experience and how it tainted our special occasion.

My friend and I enjoy Sycamore each time we visit. The only downside is finding parking but it’s not a deal breaker! The food is consistently delicious, the service is great and the overall feel of the restaurant is always enjoyable. Great job, Sycamore!

Amazing food and service. Isabella was great and made sure we always had what we wanted and was knowledgeable of the menu to make great reccomendations! Highly reccomend the short rib ragu and the picnic eggs!
