Did not get greeted by a server until 10-15 minutes after sitting, did not get drinks until over 30 minutes after sitting. Server apologized and said “there were people being trained tonight.” However, they only came to our table 3 or 4 times the entire 2 hour stay. Food was ok, pimento cheese dip was good.

The location is great. The food was good but not outstanding. They easily accommodated our party of 8. Our server was nice but not extremely attentive. Our appetizers came out quickly but our entrees took a while.

Had an early dinner here on a Monday night and it was lovely, quiet, food and service were both excellent. I had the Roasted Chicken and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my 70th birthday with 5 friends. Salmon dish was exquisite as was the steak frites. Real strength of Swift Tavern is the oysters. Best I've had at a restaurant on Chicago's north side. Setting is so much fun. Wrigley field across the street looms big. We were there on a Monday night, so the restaurant wasn't busy. Highly recommended, and I will definitely go again.

Ambience is great whether you want to go dressed up or dressed down. Great drink and appetizer options. Main course was a bit small and overpriced but not inedible. Would go again.

My girlfriend and I shared a Steak Frites entree, a side dish and two cocktails. Our bill was over $100 with tip. The entree, while delicious, had mostly fries and very little steak. Served was very attentive and good. Very nice place

We’ve been to Swift and Son’s many times and wanted to try out the Tavern, too. We were very disappointed. The food was over priced and poor quality. Seemed like it was for tourists versus Chicago quality. Service was just ok. Disappointed Boka organization.

Overall it was excellent. We had a nice table in a secluded area of the restaurant. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in Chicago.
