   We had a business dinner in the wine cellar area and it was excellent. Semi private and all of the prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. We will use this location again.

   We loved sitting outside by the river. The food was ok, sandwiches a little dry (1 chicken, 1 egg) but French fries made up for it! Service was great.

   Thank you for a wonderful dinner celebrating my mom. All of our food and desserts were terrific. Love that Sweet Waters is back open. Eugene needs to utilize the river more!

   Sweetwaters has recently reopened. We wanted to take a friend to a ‘Eugene’ dining experience. Though we had a reservation for a window table with a river view there wasn’t one available. The hostess was not only incredibly apologetic but worked to get one ready. Our server was attentive, positive and working really hard as the restaurant was busy. The food was fantastic. Two of us had the black cod, the other the brick chicken. Beautifully plated, hot out of the oven, delicious sides. We topped the meal off by sharing the marionberry crisp. We will be back.

   Sweetwaters has a nice, renovated setting with a good view of the river. The food was the big disappointment. We ordered scallops, with a variety of vegetables. While the food appearance was very nice, the 4 scallops were undercooked and luke warm at best, The carrots were hard, making them difficult to cut and eat. The Parsnip puree' was minimal and cool. For $38/plate we expected a warm meal. The Maitre D was exceptional and did comp the meal and even offered a quality dessert as we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. Drinks from the bar were very good. We might give Sweetwaters another try, but avoid the scallops.

   I was very excited when Sweetwsters reopened and we’ve been coming since. Sadly, the menu is shrinking (don’t trust the website), food quality is declining, and prices are out of line with their competition. Even with that service had been good until last night - it was not good. There aren’t a lot of good options, but enough that we probably won’t be back for a long time.

   It was a very pretty restaurant and we could enjoy watching the river from our table. However, the service was horrible. It took more than an hour for us to be served dinner. That's bad!

   We were seated right away, our service was quick and polite. We ordered a steak (cooked perfect) and I had a chop salad with salmon. The app was their crab dip - which was just fine, I didn't love the flavor. The view is the best part! All but the crab dip was great. Would definitely go back.

   My wife and I have tried Sweet Waters two different times and have been disappointed both times. Service was extremely slow, and food was not great. I recently took her there for her birthday. It was not very busy, and it took us 45 minutes to receive our food. Four servers working and people that came in after we finished our drink got their food before we did. We will not be trying it again.

    It is wonderful to have Sweetwaters open again. Great ambience, food and service! View is great as well.
