Chef Genji hand picked fresh fishes every day from the sushi market, so we serve the best taste of the fish!
At Sasabune Glendale we believe in the beauty of simplicity. Our focus is on letting the natural flavors of the ingredients shine without unnecessary embellishments or distractions.

Sasabune always provides a fantastic experience with hands down the best sushi in the entire city of Los Angeles, friendly and helpful staff, and a wonderful ambiance.

The omakase is as a good experience however I feel that the pallet is shifted towards a different audience than myself . The money to value ratio was not there for me seeing that majority of the fish served to me I can find anywhere with close quality

Hidden gem. Not sure why they weren’t busy as the preparation and presentations were all top notch omakase at the sushi bar. Great sake selection and attentive service. Will be back again when in Glendale next.

We love dining here and have done so many times. We enjoy sitting at the bar and dining. However, it’s reserved only for Omakase and has been almost all the time wide open during our visits. While I understand the establishment’s position on that (diners occupying prime real estate without ordering well), it would be nice if they open it up to diners such as us.

Delicious from start to finish. We almost didn’t get the grapes for desert but we’re glad we did — each one is a completely different flavor. Lovely young servers. It’s a special, high end traditional omakase experience.

We took our daughter for her birthday and had the omakase, both the regular and premium. It was an amazing experience and couldn’t have asked for a better presentation or service

We love to celebrate special occasions at Sasabune and this was one more for the record books. The fish was outstanding and delectable and the wait person was excellent. The chefs work their magic from the sashimi to the blue crab hand roll, and the ambience has been spiffed up a bit with mood lighting and soft music. We adore this place.

Everything about this sushi bar was great, quality of the fish, presentation, and service was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and went over the menu with great detail. Service was fast and the ambience was quiet and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend. Try the specials!
