It’s casual and cute—picture pastel-pink tiles, mint-green tables, and panda-shaped chopstick holders. Had the best time celebrating my mom’s birthday tonight Sunny’s! I have been to Sunny’s serval times, and each experience leaves me wanting to come back. Shout out to Susie the manager for her hospitality and outstanding customer service. The orange chicken and squid are my go-to, this time I also tried the mapo tofu as well and it was the star of the night. Previous notable mention was their egg and mushroom dish, I guarantee you haven’t tried something like it. Thanks for a great birthday celebration Sunny’s! My mom enjoyed it so much.

We had and incredible dinner at Sunny's last night. The food was unique, well executed and still very approachable. I've never had Chinese food anywhere close to this level. Our entire group was thoroughly impressed. Can't wait to come back.

Great food! Highly recommend the Chrysanthemum and Spinach, Dan Dan noodles if you like spicy noodles, and Orange Chicken. HK French Toast was really good as well. Must go again soon…I want to try everything on the menu!

We had an amazing time! Everything was excellent, we were a large group for a birthday and we ordered a lot of food. Every dish was great, nothing I wouldn’t order again. Our server, May, was great and knew exactly when to check on us, made good recommendations and obviously knew what she was talking about. Can’t recommend enough :) we could see the kitchen from where we sat and it was nice to see that everyone put a lot of passion and interest into what they were doing.

What a gift to share a new year’s dinner with a dear friend at this phenomenal restaurant. Food was delicious. Our servers were excellent. Wine and cocktails superb. New plum soft serve dessert was out of this world! We will be back again. Thank you for such a great night out.

I celebrated New Year’s at Sunny’s Chinese in Kensington, and it was a truly lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was great. That said, I did feel that the menu leaned a bit heavily toward mushrooms, with fewer options in terms of protein or other flavor profiles. While I would have appreciated a bit more variety, I must say that everything we tasted was exquisite regardless. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely return. Sunny’s has a charming ambiance, and the food quality is undeniable. Looking forward to my next visit!

The New Year's Eve experience at Sunny's was great! Ambience was festive and service was impeccable. Food was very good, and nicely planned for this type of evening. The one exception was the bone marrow/tofu dish, which did not have an appealing taste or consistency. Everything else was five out of five! This is our favourite place for a fun night out in our own neighbourhood and we'll be back soon.
