   Went for our anniversary, food was amazing. I had the cowboy steak and my wife had the 12oz filet. Both were done perfectly. Split a wedge salad, ordered Brussel sprouts and sweet potato casserole to share. Brie was are server, she was very attentive and didn’t hover over us. We would go back for another special occasion.

   I made a reservation here for my parents' anniversary, and they went above and beyond. Rose petals on the table, a dessert with happy anniversary written on it, and excellent service where the steaks were brought out in front of them so they could pick. My dad really enjoyed the cajun butter that his ribeye was cooked in. Overall, so happy that I chose this one for them and can't wait to come here myself!

   Drinks are great. Appetizers came promtly and were good. Not amazing but solid. Service started out well but faded as I had to ask about the entrees after we had been seated an hour. We were told the kitchen was backed up and that was ok but for a hard stop we had coming up in 30 mins. Food then came out right away - except the blackend salmon was a hockey puck, my steak was overcooked and 1/4 entrees didnt make it (shrimp - which takes no time to cook). Fortunately, the Salmon was quickly replaced with a much better piece of fish and the shrimp dish arrived within another 5 minutes. Didn’t have the time or patience at that point to deal with the overcooked steak. Everything was tasty despite the snafus. Overall we had a nice dinner, but not the great time I thought we would have at Sullivans. I have come to expect more from them over the years, but I also realize nobody bats 1000. So, Sullivan’s, I call a strike but the at bat is not over! Looking forward to a great time next time!

   We had dinner at Sullivan's a week ago and once again, our experience was outstanding. My husband had the ribeye steak which was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was delicious. And my daughter had the lobster tempura which is one of our favorite items on the menu. The managers, Matt and Alejandro, both gave us a warm welcome and stopped by our table to make sure our food was up to expectations. Of course it was as always!! Our server, Stacy, was very friendly and extremely attentive. For all these reasons, Sullivan's is our favorite place to dine in Naperville!!

   As we have come to expect, the food and wine was exceptional but this was the first time that the service didn’t match that high quality. Our server was experienced (we had the same waiter in the past) but kept forgetting to circle back to us. Surprisingly we had to ask for bread and water on more than one occasion and the pacing of each course wasn’t on the same level that we always had in the past.

    Food was excellent, as always. Very consistent. The Dirty Birdie Martini was a delight. But above all else, my birthday celebration was made extra special by Luis, my server. He and the team made me feel welcomed and valued. That is priceless. Thank you!
