Sullivan’s elevated steakhouse menu pulses inspiration from a variety of global cuisines, truly offering something for everyone. Start your evening with a plate of filet mignon-stuffed cheesesteak egg rolls or a half-dozen oysters on the half-shell. Enjoy our fresh market greens, or sip our classic French onion soup. I took my husband to Sullivan’s Steakhouse for his birthday and it was the absolute perfect place to celebrate his birthday! Great food, wonderful drinks, service, ambiance, and they even had a jazz band playing! They also gave my husband a birthday card and a free full size dessert of his choice.

I ordered their Bone-In Ribeye Cowboy Cut and it was cooked correctly in regards to temperature but the steak was extremely lacking in seasoning. My date had the rack of lamb and had to drench it in their house sauce in order to be able to enjoy it. The sides were just okay. The service was great, the drinks were good as well. I likely wouldn’t return based on the taste of the food versus the price point as there are several other good options in the city at this price point that don’t disappoint.

We celebrated our anniversary while in Detroit for a conference. We felt such love from our host stand and server Beth. Food service was fantastic and cocktails are top notch. Thanks for making us feel so special.

Made a reservation online. Arrived, and no one greeted us at the hostess stand for almost 5 minutes. Then, an employee helped us, although he was not the hostess. We got sat in the back by some women who were listening to their own personal music conflicting with the band that was playing live at the restaurant. Then, while sitting at the table, we waited for over 10 minutes for service, and it never came. So we left. I can not really rate the food because we never got any. But the service was not great.

Fantastic wine menu. We enjoyed the crab cake appetizer, bisque was delicious, and filets were cooked perfectly.

Food was outstanding, though pricey. Two people with a steak dinner, three sides and one drink each for $350. Ambience was good for conversation. Service was good.

Steaks may have been Choice at best. Had to send first Ribeye back for over cooked. Second one was OK, but meat quality was not up to the price you pay. Server showed only when delivering what was ordered. Will not go back.

Kamron, our waiter, was fantastic! The steak and lobster were incredible. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the parking in downtown Detroit is abundant, though it’s expensive. If you’re not bothered by walking, there are free parking spots within a one-mile radius. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I took my husband out for a dinner just as a thank you. I spent over $400 for our meal. Both of our steaks were charred and without flavor. We left the restaurant and felt ill. We have been sick with what we believe is the Norovirus. Both unable to keep anything down. In and out of the restroom. We believe it was the salad or the oysters that caused our illness. It’s been horrible. Something meant to be a gift turned into a nightmare.
