Family-owned, Sugar Barge Waterfront Bar & Grill is one of the finest restaurants on the delta. We’re located minutes from Brentwood & Oakley in Bethel Island. Recently remodeled dining room with the best waterfront views of the delta from every table. Our mahogany bar is a great place to relax with a classic cocktail, glass of wine or cold craft beer.

Classically trained Executive Chef and Operating Partner, Ed Savoie and Operating partner Sarah Savoie from Brentwood have carefully curated wonderful menus! We offer fantastic dishes such as New Orleans BBQ shrimp, Cocoa rubbed braised short ribs, Steaks, Seafood, Sandwiches and Pasta dishes.

If you love a fun time, summertime on the top deck is where it’s at. Local bands, live music & dancing. Enjoy the beautiful views, boats and wildlife. Outdoor dining: Oysters on the Half Shell, Barge Burgers, Wings, Seafood boils, Margaritas, Mai Tais, Rum Runners or an ice-cold Beer.

The new menu is great. Love the Korean ribs and Cajun prawns. The view of franks Tract cannot be beat.

The view is outstanding. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. My meal was excellent but my wife's tortellini was a bit salty, possibly due to the bacon.

We really enjoyed the newly remodeled indoor dining experience - the food was excellent and an excellent value. Our table had a river view which added to the ambiance along with great service.

This has become our favorite restaurant, a hidden gem that we didn’t know it was so close to us. Bring out there in the water, makes you feel as if you were in a little island, the drive on that waterfront rd transports you to Hawaii 😃 The food is great, great choices for everyone and the service tops it all. We have now met 3 servers and they have been so much fun, they are friendly and super engaging, always checking on you with a smile on their faces. This makes a difference when there is connection, making you feel at home. I have tried many of their plates and they have not disappointed - . Appetizers - the New Orleans BBQ shrimps are so delicious with the garlic bread and same goes for the clams… you wil need more bread to dip as you wi not want to stop eating it, The rib eye, great value and flavor, my only feedback is that the medium is still too cooked, more like a well. My husband got fish and chips and they are so good, great portion. The Barge Sherril burger, is such a clever way to make a burger without the bun, creative and super yummy. A must try. The seafood fettuccini, great flavors. Overall a great restaurant with amazing views of the Delta.

First time eating here. Had a great lunch. Ordered Fish & Chips and Clam Chowder. Service was great, looking forward to future visits.

Overlooking the Marina was very nice. Service was very attentive. Food was very good but wife's dish had to be sent back as it was too rare for her taste. It was brought back cooked perfectly. Overall a very nice dining experience.

The food is delicious! My wife had the Cajun Shrimp Tortellini & I had the Ahi Tuna Salad. Both were excellent. The service is fast and friendly. The owners, Ed & Sarah made us feel right at home.
