Join us on January 14 for our inaugural Chef's Dinner. Begin with a warming roasted garlic & turmeric chicken broth, followed by a toasted brioche coin topped with lemon mascarpone & carrot caviar, paired with Les Alliés Sparkling Brut. Next, savor a creamy carbonara-style risotto and a vibrant beet salad with chèvre & pesto, complemented by Stadt Krems Grüner Veltliner. The main course highlights slow-braised short rib with Meyer lemon mashed potatoes, paired with Tassajara Cabernet Sauvignon. Finish with a decadent challah bread pudding, rounding out a night of refined flavors and expertly chosen wines that will mark the beginning of a new tradition.

Our party of the six included a seven year old for a family pre-Christmas brunch. The dining room is spacious and, though busy, still allowed for table conversation. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed the food they ordered. We would definitely return.

Overall great food and service. We enjoyed everything and are hoping they think about adding dinner maybe with small plates to enjoy the great bar later than brunch. Highly recommend.

Simply an awesome experience! I am a foody and have dined at many wonderful restaurants around the world. The experience we had at the Stonegarden was right with the best we have ever had! A+ grade for staff, A+ for the ambience, A+ for the meal, and A+ for the value. Our brunch consisted of oysters and crab cake for starters, Stonegarden Benedict and Gravlax for mains, a side of fried potatoes, and their raspberry waffle for the sweets. Drinks were the Espresso Martini and Bloody Mary. The food was superb! Blue Point Oysters with champagne migonette pearls were INCREDIBLE! Awesome remoulade Maryland Crab Cake, lemon-mascarpone gravlax, fried mini-potatoes (which were so good that I doggy-bagged the last couple for home!), and a benedict with a scratch biscuit that had me considering another order of it! The raspberry compote on a very light and perfectly cooked waffle was a great way to finish our meal. I will add that the espresso martini is exemplar...fresh pulled espresso with vodka, frangelico, disaronno, licor 43, and a very slight hint of maple...AWESOME! The staff is top notch, super friendly, with prompt and patient service. The owner (Andrew) came to our table and talked with us for about 10 minutes on his history and the thoughts that went into this "french with some twists" influenced menu. Such care on the right staff, menu, feel and atmosphere of the restaurant is rarely done so well. The location is nestled into a wonderful neighborhood setting near Lake Nokomis. We are looking forward to coming back again and trying some of the other items on their menu!

Hidden gem. Creative menu. The French Onion Omelette was a real treat. My picky sister LOVED it. I had the Maryland Crab Cake Benedict. PERFECTION. The Hollandaise sauce with a hint of dill was awesome. The crab cake was perfectly cooked. The space is open, bright and airy. The servers were attentive without being intrusive.
