   Really great experience here. A bit pricey but the food is worth it and service is great. Scallop ceviche, broccoli cheddar salad, and artichoke bisque were all delicious and would absolutely order again.

   We hosted our friends to a birthday dinner and celebration at Stokes Adobe last night. We were seated in the library upon arrival where our server Salvador greeted us. From start to finish he provided excellent service. He was courteous, attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Courses arrived in a timely progression throughout the evening and every attention to detail was provided. We started with a round of signature cocktails which were delightful! These were quickly followed by appetizers and starters -- The crispy potatoes with lemon truffle cream were amazing, as were the artichoke bisque and chopped salad starters. Everything was fresh and flavorful-- very pleasing to the eye as well as the palate. Our entrees were equally delicious -- the Roasted Chicken with salsa verde and cranberry beans and Scottish Salmon with with saffron soubise were hearty and packed with flavor. The chicken entree was a very generous portion and we each went home with a boxed portion for another meal. We ended with cappuccinos and desserts of chocolate budino and selection of gelato... All were decadent and fully satisfying. It was a wonderful and memorable evening and our friends were raving about the delicious meal, charming ambiance and exceptional service all the way home. We'll definitely plan a follow-up visit soon!

   This was our second time dining here. We had great service -- they were well-prepared for my wife's food allergies and had marked up a menu for her in advance. We tried a new dish, cavatelli with lamb sausage, and it was excellent. We also had the duck liver mousse toast, which was a favorite from the last time we dined here. For dessert, we tried the dulce de leche beignets -- I believe they are house made -- very light, airy, creamy in the center; served with whipped mascarpone that appeared to have some kind of cinnamon leche sauce underneath...so good!

   We had a great time at Stokes Adobe, the food and drinks were fantastic, the food was good and the ambiance was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

   Such a great Restaurant to celebrate our first week as husband and wife! Not only that, but this great restaurant gave us a free bottle of wine that had our name sake.

   Excellent all around. Starters, entrees, wine all met expectations. Choice for kids a nice plus. Highly recommend.

    The food was delicious and a bit unusual. Four of us all had different things and everyone was very pleased. The building is so beautiful and the room we were in was pretty quiet. There was carpeting and grass cloth wallpaper and wooden ceilings, which all may have helped to keep the noise level low.
