The expansion of the CityLYNX Gold Line, a 10-mile streetcar system that will run through the heart of Uptown, is currently underway at our corner. With this exciting project, however, comes the occasional road closure. From August 2 – September 2, traffic flow will be altered slightly in the Uptown area. We still offer FREE VALET parking.

We booked a reservation for Christmas Eve. When we arrived we were informed that it was a set menu. Way over priced for the quality of food we received. The best item was the Mac-N-Cheese. Pork was dry and beef was over cooked. Fixed menu and cost should have been posted on line as the price of $80.00 per person was too high for the quality of food we received. The service was good as staff was very nice. We even looked at the menu online at 11:00 this morning and there was nothing posted about the menu.

Our large group (12) had a great time at Stoke for a pre-Symphony meal. Good service. Good food. Good time.

My husband and I recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Stoke in the Charlotte Marriott City Center. We had an amazing evening filled with great food and personalized service. Our server Emily was outstanding. She is super knowledgeable about the items on the menu, describing them in detail and offering recommendations. We started with a Pretzel Brioche bread served with three curated butters. My favorite was the butter infused with Monk Mustard although the honey and Cheerwine flavors were close seconds. We each choose the NY strip steak as an entrée and paired them with sharable sides of Mac & Cheese and Salad. Our steaks were full flavored and cooked to perfection. The mac & cheese was a tasty blend of two cheeses with a hint of Chile spice. For dessert we enjoyed “The Donut”, a huge donut filled with diplomat cream and topped with heath bar crumble. Bring friends to eat this or take the leftovers home like we did. The Food and Beverage Manager, Michael, stopped by to check on us several times during the evening. He is an experienced manager who made sure all the guests’ needs were met, and his staff was supported. A special thank you to Chef Ericka and her team for preparing such delicious food. Ericka even took time to leave the kitchen and speak with us. We highly recommend Stoke and look forward to returning to enjoy food, drink and our new friends Emily, Michael and Ericka.

Excellent service. They got my main course wrong and replaced it very quickly. They did everything possible to ensure our happiness with our meal.

We thought the dinning experience was not what we expected. Typically the Marriott dining has a better quality food. The service was good and waitress did a good Kobe but food value less than average. Would not dine there again
