STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.

Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

Food and service were great. It's a cool space -- wide open so it's a little loud but we enjoyed it.

First time diners at STIR. Anniversary brunch. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Negative - Small two booth seating when other couples were seated in more specious booths and plenty of seating available. Positive - Waiter showed up immediately and order taking efficient. Food was very good in flavor and quantity. Food arrived promptly. This was Sunday brunch. Again, we had not been here before, so we did not know the process. We were not informed that there was a brunch buffet (it was not in sight of the entrance or our seat. We also were not informed that it was part of the main courses we order (sided dishes and desserts). We only noticed that at the end of our meal when we noticed other diners walking back to their tables with small dishes from "somewhere". Disappointing that we were not advised. Because we were not told of what we were actually paying for and the extra brunch offerings I feel we did not get what we actually paid for and had to rate the overall less than above average.

Brunch was great. Several enticing menu items, special drink prices, and all very tasty. Small buffet with side items and pastries for those who order entrees was a very nice touch. Wife really enjoyed the eggs benedict with shrimp and crap. Service had several small "tics," though nothing crucial. Went a long time with no one checking, thus we didn't get to order a second bloody Mary or get coffee refills, and wife was hoping for a bit more sauce for her eggs.

Really good food and service A bit of a drive for us from Farragut but well worth it. Next time well probably go when the time changes.

Had such a great meal here! Our server Mackenzie was the sweetest. She was so patient, attentive, and had great recommendations.
