Booked it for birthday but it was not noted on reservation, had to remind staff after being served the bill. Beer was served tepid, had to ask for a cold one. When ordering, asked the staff what juice they had, just to be told she is new and she doesn’t know. Another staff kept asking if we’ve ordered after having just ordered. One staff took plates in the middle of the table without asking, with food still on the plate. When I told her we haven’t finished with the plate of food can she put it back, she just looked at me and didn’t understand. Instead she started explaining what was the sauce on the plate. That is with the place only half full! Very disappointed, service normally good. Food is always enjoyable.

They have a wide reaching menu that should have something for everyone. The only reason I gave a 4 on the food instead of 5 is that one of the sticks we ordered (cheeseburger wrapped with bacon and grilled) was burnt quite badly on one side with the entire taste being that of charcoal so it should not have been served to us. Otherwise a very nice dinner and good value

A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality and experience.

Booked for 8:45 and so did another 40 couples so everybody had to wait a lifetime before being seated. Paid £40 in advanced so they set us all up from the start. They double booked every table. The food came cold and the time between the first dish and second was 30 minutes. Our drinks came 1 and half hours after asking for them on 4 separate occasions. Severely understaffed. No discount for the inconveniences. Terrible terrible experience and will not ever return to this establishment.

They had overbooked for Valentine’s Day. So when we got there, there was an already a big crowd of people waiting to get in who had booked. Because they had made us pay a deposit we could not realistically go anywhere else. We eventually got a seat in a fairly crammed area ( we were the lucky ones as many had to sit at the windows). Food was ok but as we had to wait so long we had lost our appetite. The Kingston branch isn’t as nice as the Wimbledon one which I much prefer. Basically their greed by overbooking and lack of waiting staff and control at the front made it fairly unpleasant experience for most people that evening
