Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more. In its prime, Steuben’s was the center of the Boston dining and nightlife scene.

Steuben's: Home for the Holidays Step back in time and relive the magic of Christmas mornings with Steuben's: Home for the Holidays, our nostalgic holiday pop-up. From November 22nd to January 5th, we’ve transformed our enclosed and heated patio space into a cozy haven filled with vibrant holiday lights, cheerful decor, and the warm glow of childhood memories. Pair this nostalgic throwback with one of our many holiday themed cocktails and toast to the season in style. Our cozy, enclosed, and heated patio will host the pop-up, with limited tables available.

I did not appreciate one of the employee's remarks behind the bar that night to another (and not jokingly) referring to one in our party as "that old guy over there said he would get the drinks on his tab..." very offensive and unprofessional - but I did not want to draw attention or make it worse and I did not want to make a scene. Felt it was very rude. I was also pretty unhappy with the service. They were not as busy as I expected them to be but took forever to bring out anything...drinks...food... at one point the guy didn't even remember what my husband ordered to drink and one of the other guests at our table and brought out the wrong thing all together. We spent over $400 last night between drinks and dinner... so to me this is very unacceptable and surprising because I have been here before which is why I chose it for this event. Won't do that again.

Fun little find with incredibly tasty food and a lovely patio decorated for the season. Kids: Raspberry jam…”top notch”! Pot roast…”fire”. Mom: The key lime pie cheesecake was ridiculous!

This will probably be our last time dining here for a while. While the food is really good and the value is worth it, the service continues to go downhill. This is our third time going there and this was the worst and slowest service that we ever experienced. The waiter not only did not put in our full order, the meal came out about 25 minutes after we had placed the order. I really hope they will step up their game and retrain their wait staff because, IMHO, they will lose a lot of customers if they continue on the road they're taking currently.

Used to be one of my favorite places for dinner, but when we got there it would’ve been best to turn around. Between service and quality it was just not up to the normal Steuben’s standards. Drinks were slow, service was mediocre at best, and food fine but just didn’t really do it. Definitely will be back at some point, but as other restaurants have came into town they menu has stayed relatively the same and hasn’t really changed.

Beer change out and no chicken and waffles and no crabcakes. Also the food came out after 45 min. The waitstaff were doing what they could but it was really disorganized.
