The food was very tasty! Meals were butter chicken, spicy Thai salad, and bacon and tomato soup and a chicken Caesar salad. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. The wait staff were friendly but seemed overextended. It took a while to get the bill but that did give is time to chat after our meal. Sitting in a booth near the door is not ideal from a temperature perspective - I should have asked to be moved. We’ll be back!

Wine was good, service excellent. Partner food was okay. Appetizer was okay , the tuna was great but soup dumplings tasted old. The soup I had was not great, broth was tasteless and the rice noodles overcooked, veggies were undercooked and the chicken was processed meat. Didn’t expected that from this restaurant, went often to the one in Kitchener and the food is so much better there, Overall experience…. Will not recommend.

The white sauce for rotini with shrimp was very bland. Not sure if there was any garlic or spicing at all. Steak frites was very good, though. Server was busy and we had to wait for drink orders and also wait to ask for water. Prices are expensive ($25-45 for entrees).

We totally enjoyed our dinner at State and Main. The food and service were excellent and the Caesar was amazing!
