    We have been going to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is lovely and the tables are spaced out nicely. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Will definitely come again and would highly recommend

    I had booked and confirmed my business meeting booking. And when I got there I was informed the restaurant was closed for a private event. I won’t be booking there again.

    Came on a Wednesday night for dinner with my son who was visiting from Whitehorse. Restaurant was quite busy for the middle of the week attesting to the popularity of this dining spot. Love the interior design with its painted ductwork / wood plank ceiling combo, interesting to have kitchen located centrally and visible allowing customers to watch food prep, beautiful light fixtures and uniquely designed and temperature controlled floor to ceiling wine storage. We ordered the Salmon tomato Boursin risotto and the Pork Chop bone-in Alberta pork tomahawk. Both were beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, and delicious ! Our server, Morgan, made our dining experience enjoyable and memorable. She was extremely attentive and was always available and willing to accommodate any special request that we had. She provided exceptional service ! Great vibe, great food, and a fun dining experience with a definite cool factor !

    The restaurant is beautiful, the food is consistently good, and the cocktails were delicious. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We love having a more upscale restaurant out in the suburbs. Going downtown is fun sometimes, but it is nice to get the same feel closer to home.

    I love the decor and ambience of Starbelly . Especially in its location - it offers downtown caliber restaurant in the suburbs of Calgary . Best part - free, easy access, no hassle parking! Excellent cocktails , staff warm , friendly capable . Attentive, but not too attentive…. If I had one suggestion , it would be to offer a little more variety on the lunch menu. I had the beet shrimp salad , which was excellent , but I would have enjoyed more choice of perhaps soup and /or maybe soup and sandwich? Last suggestion - more reasonably priced wine options ….. is it possible that you might sell more wine, if it was more reasonably priced ? I myself would enjoy a glass of wine with lunch , but when it’s unreasonably priced , I chose not to have at all . Just a few suggestions …… We still had a lovely lunch at a lovely restaurant.

    We normally love Starbelly. This was our first time there for lunch and probably last. The lunch menu is overpriced and the salmon undercooked. The service was friendly but so slow. We didn’t get a coffee refill until after the meal and had to ask. Very different to the evening experiences we’ve had there both in terms of food and service.
