The 20th of November marks the next edition of Mi Casa, Tu Casa. Head Chef Sean Blood will take to the kitchen upstairs at St John’s Tavern to cook a menu that draws on his own nostalgia and memories of travelling across North America and Mexico during his childhood. A snapshot of some of the dishes from the 8-course menu Clams, coriander, chilli Stuffed chicken wing, crab, roasted prawn oil Pork cheek, almond mole, mojo verde Beef short rib, ancho, onions The supper club will have staggered sittings, one at 7 pm and another at 8 pm. Each ticket is priced at £65 and includes a welcome cocktail upon arrival, with the option to add the wine pairing for £30.

Food was good, waiting staff helpful. It would have been nice to have had maybe one more big plate options for weekday deal but small plates were excellent and quality of food within the deal was excellent

Heard rumours about their Sunday roast, in particular the roast beef, we were not disappointed. Meat and Yorkshire pudding fabulous. Waiters so attentive and friendly, our dog was given off cuts! Great atmosphere which seemed to peak mid afternoon. Big pub, plenty of tables, nice decor One star less as my apple pie could have been better, maybe offer crumble instead? Easy to park on a Sunday. Great find

Sunday roast was exceptional. Beef tender and veggies well roasted. Maybe a little on the small side in serving size. Gravy was fantastic and the mushroom vegetarian dish was also amazing. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back.
