Southern Kitchen, which is known as "The Mouth of the South" to the locals, serves up comfort food favorites. From collard greens to fried fish and chicken, the eatery provides a comfortable, relaxed spot for enjoying classic Southern food, beer, and wine for lunch, and dinner. Since opening in 2014, the restaurant has focused on providing good food paired with a classy experience and great customer service. Southern Kitchen features a variety of options for starting the meal, including fried oysters, fried okra, southern rolls, and salad. Enjoy sandwiches like the salmon cake and chicken club, or dive into some apple pecan salad, fried fish, big momma's chicken, and chicken livers and onions. Southern Kitchen also features plenty of filling plates, including the seafood platter, meatloaf, catfish, and southern-fried pork chops.

    Our service was impeccable, food was excellent and love the ambiance of the new location! First time at Stony Point location but not to the Southern Kitchen Experience !

    Great food. Been going there weekly for the last 2 months. However, we keep getting the same waiter and he’s not attentive at all. Takes forever for him to acknowledge us, drinks take a while to come and he never refills our sweet tea. We have to ask for it ourselves prior to being checked out.

    Go to Croaker’s spot for superior soul food. Food was lackluster. Over priced. Consider linen napkins. Music too loud

    Excellent Service Attentive and fast. Wait staff was friendly and courteous. Food and drinks were amazing. Would recommend to anyone to check this place out if you can. It is sure worth the visit.

    I had eaten at Southern Kitchens when it was located on 2nd Street, and the food was good. The location was decent but not particularly noteworthy. However, the new location is spectacular, and the food is excellent. The service reflects this new level of quality—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The ambiance at the new Southern Kitchens is welcoming and comfortable, with a tasteful mix of luxurious charm and modern touches. The black and white decor adds a sleek and sophisticated feel to the space. The soft lighting and cozy seating create a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. Whether you're there for a casual lunch or a special dinner, the new Southern Kitchens elevates the dining experience. From the warm greeting at the door to the last bite of dessert, everything about this place exudes comfort and quality. If you haven't visited the new Southern Kitchens yet, you're in for a treat.
