We have been twice, and while our first visit was ok, this visit was poor. Attention from our server was spotty, and two of the four entrees (blackened redfish) were cold, rubbery and virtually inedible. We had invited friends and were embarrassed by our choice of venues. Place seems to have been more popular at some point in time, but it does not warrant the 4.4 stars on Open Table. Sorry, just being honest. We are new to the area so just learning the local fare. We won’t be back to South Fork.

A bit disappointed this time. The menu was a weekend Valentine's Day menu so the choices were limited. Service was good. Waitress was attentive. We ordered mussels appetizer, short ribs and salmon. The mussels were either overcooked or just incredibly small about the size of a dime at times. The red sauce was heavy and overpowered the mussels. The short rib dinner was a small serving. The salmon was a good size portion but the sides were skimpy. Based on this experience we would not be anxious to return especially at the price point. We looked forward to returning to this restaurant but were underwhelmed this time. Also when the food was brought to the table the servers questioned us about who had ordered what and the thing is the restaurant was about half full so it wasn't that everyone was so busy that the orders had to be up for bid.

The recently expanded dining room is great. We had the special Valentine's weekend dinner menu. The beef wellington and the sea bass were both excellent and well presented.Our server was cheerful and prompt.

The food was perfect. Staff seems very awkward and messy. Delivered our food to the wrong table two times. Didn’t seem like they new what they were doing. The ambiance could have been better the lights were very bright and one of the decorative ones were not working. Ambiance and service just did not match the food which was 5 star.

It was a good Valentines meal. Food (short ribs, seafood risotto & calamari) was excellent! It was pretty cold in the restaurant … and granted to WAS Valentine’s day and the waitstaff was hustling! But hubs had to go to the car for a jacket (I brought a sweater so I was OK). Overall we enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back!
