    Review of Christmas Tea Experience – 3/5 Our overall experience at the Christmas Tea event was pleasant. The customer service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. However, the seating left much to be desired. Although the chairs appeared plush, they felt flat and uncomfortable, with the framing noticeably pressing through. I confirmed this with my son, who has a thinner frame, and he shared the same sentiment, so it wasn’t just my experience. The food was average. The egg salad lacked seasoning and felt somewhat bland, while the chicken salad had an unusual but tolerable flavor. The cucumber sandwich was simple and unremarkable. The standout item for me was the ham marmalade, which was flavorful and enjoyable. The desserts, while varied, were also somewhat bland overall. On a more positive note, I truly enjoyed the scones—they were well-prepared and delicious. The tea itself had excellent flavor and was a highlight of the experience. For the price of $58+ per person, I would consider the event fair, though there is room for improvement in both comfort and food quality. Overall, I would rate this experience 3 out of 5 stars.

    The ladies and the new professional cook go above and beyond to provide a lovely Afternoon Tea experience for my daughters and me. We have been to the Sotherton Tea Room three times this year, and every time we have enjoyed the food, the tea flavors, the staff, and the entire afternoon in general. We absolutely enjoyed the Kentucky Derby event in May when we wore out Kentucky Derby hats and definitely look forward to participating in it again next year.

    Our sales team recently visited Sotherton Tea Room for our holiday outing, and it was an absolute delight!     Enjoyed our high tea experience overall. Food was very nice & beautifully presented, although the scones were very small. The seasonal chocolate mint tea was fun, though would have preferred individual pots so we could each choose tea we wanted. Didn’t find sitting on the low settees comfortable for eating, so be sure to ask for table seating. Nice tearoom decor & attentive service.

    My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at the Christmas tea! The selection of teas was delightful and the food was delicious and plentiful! I highly recommend and experience at the Sotherton Tea Room!

    It was a wonderful first time experience with my daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The location was a bit hard to find due to lack of a sign on the building, but we found it.

    This is the most delightfully curated English Tea house. England and Jane Austin themes are everywhere. The loose leaf teas are fantastic and the blends are made by the owner. The high tea food was amazing and the scones were Real English scones. They melt in your mouth. I highly recommend the Sotherton Tea House experience. It is very unique in the greater Sacraments and Roseville area.

    Happy Birthday for my Niece! What a delightful experience. They were very accommodating of my allergy and presented a nice Birthday treat. My only complaint is that I wish they served more Coronation Chicken sándwiches. It was yummy.
