I had a great date night at Somerville 💘 Mo was our host who sat us and even moved us to a more romantic table without us asking. Carmen & AJ were our sweet & attentive servers. The oysters and sea bass were great.

It took me 3 months to get this reservation so I was very hyped to experience it . But sadly I believe it is hype . It started off rocky checked in before 6 were told to sit at the bar 6:03 to await tables mind they had just opened at 6 but no problem . This inform wasn’t communicated to bar and they assumed we’d be eating there . Waited 15 minutes to be seated at the known empty table . I would recommend if behind schedule and going to sit guest at bar offer a complimentary pour of sparkling wine or something like other upscale spots Our waiter Dennis was a delight but it did seem like he was pressed for time . I get there are time slots for this place but if you’re starting late you have to compensate with later times We ordered the braised short rib , chicken caviar sliders , parm fries and collard green lasagna The lasagna and sliders were a 10/10 but the rest I could live without For drinks. We had the heyday which is like a sidecar although you can taste the liquor the background lemon juices lacked flavor The ambiance is really nice ! Give old jazz club or speakeasy vibes and the live music for a session was a nice touch But for the price and the rushed experienced I take a few stars down

I really wanted to like Somerville, however the experience was disappointing. 7pm rez, seated facing the side & rear wall backs to the main stage. Minimal wine selection and one of the two by the glass reds were sold out. Two main selections for non beef or pork eaters. Asked for a piece of bass (on the menu) without the sides and was astonished when told the chef would not want to serve it without the sides because of the presentation…baffling! To close out the night I ordered a simple cocktail upon being seated and received it in the midst of eating the main entree. The server apologized for the delay. We really wanted a restaurant to support & routinely visit in Inglewood however at this point Somerville isn’t it!

This was my 1st time at Somerville finally, and I have to say- AMAZING. Everything about the quality of service that I received was superb and on par with the type of establishment that I was visiting. The wait staff assigned to my table were amazing, and I was lucky to get to converse with them through the course of my visit. I did not have a long wait for my food, and the food- DELICIOUS!!! Unfortunately, I only ordered 2 starters and a side since I wasn't there long; I will have to order more courses for my next visit. The ambiance was perfect, though at times felt a little dark for trying to read the menu, but I understand why. I'm also really thankful that I was seated close enough to the jazz band so I had an amazing show! Valet was also a great and seamless experience. From start to finish, my evening was spectacular.

First time I visited was great, this time was not. Awful service, was left to wait for food for almost 30 minutes, food was luke warm, and then it took another 20 minutes after we finished for someone to finally come to our table. Will not be back.

I went to Somerville on a Wednesday with an 8 pm reservation. I opted to park on the street since there was plenty available. Once we arrived we were immediately sat. The lights are very dim, I had to use my phone flashlight to read the menu and it’s loud but the band is so good! The appetizers that we ordered were the Parker House Rolls and the Caviar Fried Chicken Sliders. Our waited informed us that the rolls were out (at 8 pm, 2 hours after opening is strange) but we pleaded lol and she got us some! Both appetizers were delicious! 100/10 would highly recommend both. We ordered amaretto sours and it was the best I’ve ever had! Now onto the entrees, the Filet Mignon, lobster Mac and cheese, and organic chicken. I honestly did not enjoy any of it. The lobster Mac was hot and had plenty of lobster but to me lacked flavor. The chicken was dry but the fries were good. The filet mignon was also just okay. Overall I still give it a 4/5. The band was amazing and the staff all extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I would come back and just eat appetizers and maybe try a salad I was eyeing.

Good food, great service. Our waiter Amber made the experience perfect. She suggested a few of her favorite menu items and they did not disappoint. The Parker Rolls were delicious and the Sea Bass was tasty as promised

Exceptional service and fun atmosphere. The food was well seasoned, fresh and delicious. Ran into friends at the bar. . The live music was a wonderful surprise. Worth your Saturday night. I’m rooting for Airybody Black.

We came to Somerville for my friends birthday and the ambience was top tier! There was a live band which we didn’t expect at all and they were fantastic. Our drinks were amazing and for the appetizer we had the oysters and chicken caviar sliders! Omg the sliders were amazing! For dinner i had the bass which was a 10/10 and my friend had the ribeye. She gave it a 9/10. We were not a fan of the mac n cheese at all nor the tres leches cake but i will definitely be back! Thank you Issa

Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! This was our second visit and the food and drinks were again outstanding. The ambiance and vibe is like nothing else in LA right now. The live music sets were incredible too.
