Social Corner Yaletown is a beautiful space. Our server was friendly and attentive, but not too clingy, which we appreciated. We ordered patatas bravas, charred chorizo and the chicken paella (we splurged and added tiger prawns). The potatoes and chorizo came out within 10 minutes, which we thought was surprising, but when we tasted the potatoes we understood why. They were undercooked and were steaming like they’d been reheated in a microwave. The chorizo was great. The chicken paella was acceptable. We were excited to try a new approach to paella which didn’t include seafood. The presentation was beautiful but unfortunately the taste was underwhelming. The prawns were overcooked and underseasoned. I was really hoping to be blown away by a Spanish restaurant’s specialty so I was disappointed. Beyond the food, I had a weird bathroom experience. While in the stall I heard staff come in and it sounded like a new hire was being trained on what to do to clean. They tried to open my stall and I told them it was occupied. My first instinct would have been to apologize, but I received none. Instead, they stood outside my stall laughing and chatting until they went away. I felt very uncomfortable.

We've been here many times, and only once tried something other than the burger, but they're just so damn tasty, keep coming back!

Great variety on the menu. Great for parties where there are different taste pallets. The paella and burger were dishes that I would highly recommend. Great ambiance and atmosphere as well.

I am a regular and bring all my clients here for lunch and dinners, but every single time I do the drinks take forever. We received our food today BEFORE the drinks arrived. I think you need another bartender to help out.

Great atmosphere and service - but the pizza was about the best I’ve ever had. Delicious. Also had some of the crab and lobster ravioli which was also outstanding.

All 3 of us were on the toilet for the entire next day. Went home early instead of going to a bar after dinner because my stomach didn't feel well. Burger was mid that night.

We arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation and were greeted by a friendly hostess as we checked in. We were seated within minutes by a gentleman, who may have been the manager(he was in a suit) and made us feel welcome with conversation. The restaurant was starting to get busy, it was Saturday morning (they have a fabulous brunch menu as well as their regular menu) and the Canucks game was on at 1pm. Our server, Vladimir, was polite, kind, professional, knowledgeable with the menu, attentive, and had great interpersonal skills. We started off with prosecco and lemon water. We decided to have the veggie eggs benny, one with mushrooms and one without (they also offer a beef or crab option). The service was impeccable. Our food was out within 15 mins of ordering it and it was fantastic 👌🏼 The poached eggs were perfectly cooked, placed on top of fresh avacado, sautéed mushrooms and their in house foccacia bread. It was also sided with a delicious salad and potatoes. The portions are a good size, so bring your appetite! If you're looking for a place that offers brunch on the weekends, I'd highly recommend the Per Se Social Corner. Thank you for another amazing experience ❤️🙌🏼

Great atmosphere, low noise level for a busy restaurant. Great concept of pizza oven and tossing in dining room view. The food was excellent . Food allergies were taken care of perfectly. We will be back
