We love the simplicity of seasonal and local ingredients. Modern dining and ancient techniques such as smoking, curing and preserving are at the heart of our restaurant. These aspects motivate us as well as bringing in other global flavours, ingredients, and cuisines. In this way, we try to reflect the diversity and multiculturality of South London and the UK through our food. We are a Catey and Time Out Love London award-winning restaurant with mentions in the Good Food Guide and the esteemed Michelin Guide.

We are pleased to offer one of the cheapest tasting menu experiences in London too - so don't hesitate to book us for your next special occasion.

Guests will be offered our five OR seven course sharing menus only with options available for dietary requirements only.

Join us at Smoke & Salt on Sunday 15th December for a special traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. After a year of creative cooking, we’re slowing things down for one day to offer a classic festive meal. For £60 per person (excl. service), enjoy mulled wine and crackers on arrival, followed by a three-course Christmas lunch with mince pies to finish. Whether you’re celebrating with family or friends, book now for a festive feast! A £10 per head prepayment is required, redeemable against your final bill. Please inform us of any allergy or dietary information in your booking. Please note pictures are just for illustrative purposes only.

Absolutely incredible evening at Smoke & Salt. The food was so delicious, each and every dish cooked perfect with so many gorgeous flavours. The service was so great as well, everyone was so accommodating and attentive throughout. Could not recommend enough and we will definitely be back again and again! Thank you so much the Smoke & Salt team!

Due to a tube closure, terrible stormy weather, and buses full to the brim we had to call the restaurant 3 times to push back our table and almost had to cancel - the team were lovely and understanding and finally we made it, we were so pleased we did! The food was fantastic particularly the Carrot dish, the scallops and the beef - all the snacks were really good too and a great chocolatey desert, all with good wine pairings. Only one thing didn’t quite make the cut which was a Vol au vent amuse bouche. The scallops were the best we have eaten for some time. The team were great and friendly, and we had a nice chat with the chef. Overall this was so much better than the 2 star restaurant we ate in last weekend. We will return in the spring when hopefully getting there will be easier!!

We had a great dining experience. I was very impressed with the presentation and the effort the chef and team put with my dietary requirements. The food and drinks were excellent!

Every dish on the tasting menu was excellent. The right balance between adventurousness with not too much fuss. It’s very pleasing to have a restaurant of this quality in a neighbourhood, rather than them feeling the need to locate in the centre of town
