Join us for an exceptional riverfront dining experience, located in the heart of downtown Reno, at our newly remodeled location, Smith and River. Dine on the patio and enjoy the river views with a specialty cocktail, or inside in our open bar seating area, booth seating for a more private dining experience, or our large party dining options. Book our Chefs Table for a special dining experience. Our food is always fresh, thoughtfully sourced and always creative. Our service is attentive and caring. I wish I could remember our server's name, but he was AWESOME! Attentive and kind and kept refilling our water even after we were VERY done eating. I appreciate that and he was fun and recommended dishes as well. I had the blackened halibut, and it was WOW.

I came here around the same time last year and had a wonderful experience yet this time was very different the hostess was snappy and rude even though I was just letting her know we had a reservation the food was over priced for what we got to be completely honest 30$ for pasta with no protein is crazy on top of that my mom got a flat bread pizza with no cheese on it that blew my mind when it came out just over all a horrible experience left very disappointed

Wow, phenomenal service and the cooks really know how to prepare fantastic food. All is unique for Reno! Definitely in the top 3 of all of our restaurants. Oh, and the bar knows how to pour a drink well and still amazing flavor! Brandon our server is the best I’ve had in a long time. Very informative and suggestions were top notch! Great dining experience. Going back in a couple weeks when family comes from out of state.

Food and service were impeccable. It was a slower night but we still closed the place. One of the best reno restaurants.

We enjoyed our dinner immensely. We had braised beef shank, flat iron steak, fresh catch which was stuffed sole and truffle fries, Parker house rolls & Brussel sprouts for sides. The brussel sprouts may be best I’ve ever had. Service was great and prices good for upscale dining.

We dined here on New Year's Eve with a reservation. We checked in about 5 min before our actual reservation time and we're seated about 10 min after our reservation time. Service was lacking as we had to constantly track our server down to get water refills. After ordering our prie fixe menu options food trickled out to us and we had to remind the server who ordered what as he did not remember. The food was pretty good and tasty, but I was disappointed with the lobster bisque as it did not have actual lobster in it and tasted similar to a creamy tomato soup. I did enjoy the filet and lobster, and they were cooked to perfection. I did have some lobster shell still attached to my lobster which was not appealing in my mouth. To finish the meal they ran out of our dessert choice and they were not very understanding of how disappointing that was for having a prie fixe menu. You would think that they would have enough to satisfy the amount of reservations they had for the night. Overall it was a good meal, but the service left something to be desired. I would done here again but not during a holiday service.

Was there for the special New Years Eve menu. Wasn’t aware that was what we’d be having and had been thinking we would have the regular menu choices. But this was a very nice surprise as the food was excellent, even though there were only a few choices. We had the crab cake appetizer which was excellent. The salad was amazing and the entree I had was the lobster and 6oz filet. Really good stuff. Our waiter, Stan, was attentive without being a pest and was very helpful. Overall, for being our first time visiting, I’ve were very impressed.
