Fun , casual relaxed dining we don't take our selves too seriously but we take our food seriously.
Great local craft beer range, awesome full strength cocktails & a solid wine list.
We use all Aussie iron bark in our offset smoker, to cook the best wings, ribs and brisket around.
Lots of other menu options available, we think our burgers are pretty special as well.
Awesome views of the Bay.

Our meat is slow cooked for up to 12 hours using Australian ironbark and red gum, giving it a flavour and tenderness that is unique to us. There is something for everyone on the menu, even if you don’t like smoked meat.

    Had a booking, upon arriving stood near the sign where it advised “please wait to be seated”. Multiple staff members on preoccupied, the place was not busy barely any patrons. Finally managed to get someone’s attention by waving them down. We were advised to sit down in a part of the venue, as there were vacant seats everywhere we asked if we could sit in a booth to which the staff members shrugged “I guess, take a seat anywhere”. There was no table service as it’s all done by QR code (pretty standard) but we sat down ordered, drank and ate with plates clear all in under 40mins. Now you may think this awesome but while we were waiting for food we saw the chef eating food as he was cutting up and plating food. Hygiene my bro hygiene. Food was poorly seasoned. I can’t even count how often my husband and I salted our food. The sauce that came with the brisket tasted like HP sauce. And it was all just extremely lack lustre. Side note we witnessed two uber drivers sit at the bar have 2 alcoholic beverages each while waiting for the uber delivery to be packed up. Do not rate this place at all, you would probably be better off getting a burger at Maccas or KFC at least there would be flavour in your meal.

    The chef wasn’t eating he was executing quality control. Quality control bro. That is a house made baste that contains Worcestershire sauce. They weren’t uber drivers they were customers waiting for their take away. We provide salt and pepper on the table so you can season to your taste. You’ve made a lot of assumptions none of which are accurate.

    We had gone here for a different date scenery and just had an uninviting vibe which was disappointing as we got recommended to go here. We heard specials were getting offered to other people as the waiter staff had said to people she knew “she wasn’t letting everyone know” We then walked out without anybody knowing as we finished our meals and did not feel welcome at all.

    we went to slow smoke bistro to try a different restaurant for our date night and the restaurant did not disapoint us the food was amazing we enjoyed every bite of it. it also wasnt oily at all which was another bonus! friendly staff friendly service! well worth the 38minute drive. food is definitely worth the price! 10/10! would recommend trying! this restaurant :) <3

    Ribs and Steak meal large portion and cooked to my liking, Pork Belly with creamed corn and salsa was delicious.Live music was great not too loud and servers were friendly even when it was a busy night.

    Our favorite restaurant is our go-to spot for amazing food, friendly and attentive staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. On weekends, they even have fantastic live music. This place satisfies all our cravings at once! ❤️

    Usually great food .My Sons steak was great as was my wife's pulled pork dish. However my steak was virtually un eatable. Rump steak that was so tuff it was nearly impossible to chew or cut . Mushroom sauce very average.

    Was a complete letdown. won't be returning, & wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a dec... Jul. 2024 • Family recently dined at Slow Smoke Bistro and had one of the most disappointing experiences ever. We ordered the family board for $125 and what a let down!! We were expecting a flavorful and tender aray of smoking tender meats but Instead, what I got was dry and tasteless meat. I'm not sure if they realised you are meant to actually season meat. For $125 we expected a little more than what we got but then if the food had been decent we would not have minded. To make matters worse, the customer service was abysmal. The staff was rude and not helpful at all When I tried to bring up the issues with the brisket, they were dismissive and made no effort to rectify the situation. Just replied that they were not rude but busy. However there was only 2 tables occupied, would hate to see it during peak service. We attempted to contact the owner to give feedback which we did state we were not looking for anything in return but they just got offended.

    So we reached out to you in 3 ways but you didn’t respond. Not sure what you are trying to achieve when you apparently don’t want anything. The brisket is literally crusted in salt and pepper and if that isn’t sufficient there is salt and pepper on the table. We received multiple compliments and 5 star reviews about the very same meal you had on the same day Your initial message to us was such a thinly veiled threat to expose us to your 45k followers of this mysterious page that we can’t find anywhere, that we debated replying at all. As it stands we are comfortable if you take your patronising patronage elsewhere
