Derived from the nickname given to Amberjack who don’t have any teeth, Slick Lips is a family-friendly seafood and oyster bar nestled in the picturesque Baytowne Wharf. With a key concentration on fresh ingredients, locally caught fish, and an assortment of fresh oysters, prepare to be hooked on this prime dining spot! Slick Lips is now officially OPEN!

Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster House is in Baytowne Wharf – so spread the word! Property owners and guests of the Sandestin resort are already loyal regulars here. Turn north off Hwy 98 and the guard gate will issue you a pass. Once inside, follow the signs to Baytowne Wharf. We are located down the main strip heading towards the harbor. See you soon!

We had a wonderful meal! Our kids tried the fried oysters and enjoyed them. I loved the lobster po’boy!

Oysters were amazing. Also had lobster roll and fries. Best fries I ever had. More like a potato. Sat at the bar and service was great.

We randomly choose this restaurant for a family of 6 ( 3 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 kids). The price were reasonable, the menu had a variety of choices, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent!

Service is terrible (disengaged, slow, no smiling, little welcome) and we had odd experiences: asking for tartar sauce that was supposed to be on the sandwich and getting mayo, getting the check while making dessert order and then not receiving dessert we ordered until we followed up. Restaurant was also a bit grimy, they should clean the floors when then wipe the tables. Seemed like they couldn’t wait to get us out the door. However, food was fantastic. Definitely a place to order out from, but not to sit in.

We’ve been coming to Slick Lips since it opened. They made a decision to change their menu last week removing Snapper Pontchatrain, okra and a couple of chargrilled oyster options that we’ve always enjoyed. We also noticed the servings cut corners on portions this time. When a business at Baytowne cuts favorites from menus and skimps on serving sizes they struggle to survive long term. We really hate to see this.

Because they already included the 20% server tip automatically on your check, seems that the servers doesn’t make a effort to assist you! Food sucks, I order a steak and my boyfriend tacos, total bill $104, no alcohol beverages, wtf? Never coming back again!
