While you may not realize it, you have chosen to dine in a Texas Tech University classroom! Skyviews Restaurant is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant designed and operated to provide a hospitality laboratory experience for up to 50 students each week. While you are enjoying an excellent meal in the lovely surroundings, students are developing skills and applying knowledge. Every day is a learning experience for our students, and we welcome comments and suggestions as we strive to improve your dining experience. We greatly appreciate your patronage.

Please note that reservations are limited due to the nature of our restaurant. Dinner reservations fill up quickly and will close 24 hours prior to dinner. If OpenTable does not allow a reservation or blocks out a timeslot, that signifies we are full for that time and/or day.

Excellent business meal with staff and a job candidate! Loved all we ate and the conversation was good due to the distance between tables. Gary is the best! He keeps an eye on his students and teaches them how to be attentive and serve with care!

I have been coming here since 2010 when I was a Texas Tech student. I love it. Great atmosphere, wonderful memories, lovely restaurant.

Waiter poured water in our glasses, but didn't ask if we wanted something different to drink. Waiter never came back after initial contact. Very odd. We ended up helping ourselves to food hoping that's how this program worked.

Was supposed to go but you guys told me it was canceled, so its funny that I'm getting asked to review since it sounds like you didn't cancel. I have had this reservation for months and now can't get another reservation till next year.

They canceled the dinner due to circumstance beyond their control they had to cancel the dinners.

The wait staff did not greet us and did not inform us about the buffet (that it's a buffet, it's self-serve, any options, if there is anything that we needed, etc.). I also observed other customers wondering about the buffet in a similar position to ours. Also, the entrees kept being empty so our party was not able to enjoy the entrees that we wanted.
