Siren Social Club is a sultry tropical speakeasy-style restaurant inside the new boutique Hotel Vela in downtown Gulfport, MS. The restaurant and hotel is a short walk from the Mississippi Aquarium, and picturesque white sand beaches. Led by award winning Chef Austin Sumrall and his wife Tresse, the menu will feature refined European flavors including an extensive raw bar, flavorful small plates, and a variety of handmade pastas just to name a few. The bar will boast an expertly designed menu of artisanal cocktails, wines, and spirits. Yet another excellent date night with the amazing team at Siren! Fantastic, romantic ambience. Superior service from Elias, with clever cocktails from the bar—the rum julep in particular. The meal was delicious with one exception—the Wellington was high quality and well constructed, but over-salted both on the beef and in the pastry shell. Nevertheless a wonderful evening. Looking forward to the next time!

Another wonderful visit. The bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable. 1000 layer potatoes, squash gratin, and broccolini were all fantastic. But the star of the show is the beef wellington. Filet was cooked perfectly, as were the layers of pastry. A totally wonderful experience.

Another amazing experience by the incredibly talented Austin Sumral! We started with White Pillars on my 50th birthday 4 years ago and will follow this guy anywhere! We had an incredible experience at Siren. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend the garlic shrimp and the scallops (5Stars!!) but we tried nearly everything on the menu and all dishes were excellent. Honorable mention to the eggplant, Wellington, beef tartare, and oysters. Our waiter was fantastic and Megan the manager was especially helpful. Job well done by all!

We had the smoked oysters, scallop dish and swuid ink pasta. They were all 10/10! One of the best restaurants on the coast!

Second time in two weeks and it was perfect again. Great vibe, great staff, and the food is phenomenal. We’ve made it our mission to try everything on the menu because everything we’ve had in three visits has been so delicious. Put Siren at the top of your list.

It was our first time dining there. The atmosphere is really just something else. Every single dish or drink we had felt way more than worth it. It is the day after our visit and we still are talking about how wonderful our experience was. Our waiter knew the menu super well and offered suggestions that were super helpful! As someone who rarely dines at places that are more expensive, I can assure you that your money does not feel waisted. The food and experience we both enjoyed was priceless and I can’t recommend this establishment enough!
