Excellent atmosphere in the beer garden on a warm night. The food was magnificent, having ordered the pork schnitzel. We'll definitely go again.

Barkly was a great location for a reunion of friends living in various parts of the local area. The team members were friendly and there was a good range of offerings on the menu. The venue was clean, cool and airy; perfect for a summer afternoon. One diner who ordered the chicken schnitzel was disappointed by the tiny amount of salad, although the schnitzel was a generous serve and took up most of the plate. Otherwise we were satisfied overall with our experience.

We were in the beer garden. The staff were lovely, Daisy in particular! 2 out of the 4 meals were great and the other 2 not so much. I had the crumbed cutlets which were dry and must have been deep fried (not enjoyable). And my friend had the chicken risotto which she said was a bit average.

The menu was varied, pleasant tasting and reasonably priced. The service was friendly, helpful and polite from at least 5 employees. The environment was open, clean, reasonably well lit and comfortable Drinks menu gave wide choice at fair prices.

Made a booking online for an early dinner. The venue was lively when we arrived. Table was ready. We ordered a selection of tapas dishes ,great value and added a salad .All to share between 2 people. The food was delicious ,especially the polenta chips ,and the chicken satays. Food arrived promptly Service was great.

Great atmosphere. Everyone’s meal was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The beer garden is such a good venue.
