The worlds first Zero Waste restaurant, Silo's menu is an expression of natural farming and closed loop cooking, demonstrating quality within sustainability.
Situated in Hackney Wick overlooking the River Lea, the restaurant features an open and spacious, relaxed dining room, counter seating around the kitchen and hearth, as well as a private dining room.
Awarded with a Green Michelin Star.

Food is phenomenal and something new,from a chefs point of view its worth it to come and experience this restaurant. The vibes in the restaurant are clean but not too rigid like in a fine dining restaurant. The team is very attentive and positive,they will make you feel like home straight away.

What an incredible experience. Incredible food, fantastic service (although some staff spoke very softly). It's pricey but doing things properly is.

Simply one of the best meals we have ever eaten, with an experience to match. The philosophy is as inspiring as it is common sense for a more sustainable industry, but the execution and depths of flavour that the chefs achieve are the key. Truly out of this world, with one of the most interesting wine pairings to match. It is not cheap, but in terms of value for the love and care put in, unsurpassed. The service was professional, deeply knowledgeable and passionate, but relaxed too. Somehow it managed to feel like a family restaurant whilst being both deeply smart and achingly hip. One of the best experiences and highly recommended.

Really beautiful meal in all aspects of the experience, from the moment you walk through the door your transported out of your ordinary and into the magical world of koji, fermentation, and experimentation. The experience felt welcoming and warm, with a team that has incredible passion and joy behind the work that they're doing. They are gushingly proud of their purveyors and felt that each one they spoke about held deep connections to the meal and the team honored to transform these ingredients into culinary magic. I had the opportunity to sit at the counter and watch the magic happening, led by Chris at the pass and Katie at the grill, it was a joy to watch and taste the bounties of their hard work. The food was equally as incredible, with each dish seemingly better than the last, I felt I said to myself 3 or 4 times this is one of the best bites I've eaten, EVER. Run to this place and enter with and open mind and an empty stomach because you won't leave hungry but you will leave wondering what in the hell just happened.
