This unique experience allows guests to enjoy a variety of chef’s top seasonal cuisines in artful presentation. This experience is available to party sizes of two or four. All guests are served the same menu driven from the current yields of our local purveyors (allergies can be accommodated with advance notice). Requested times are subject to adjustments. Add-ons such as wine pairings, bourbon tasting or cocktail pairings are available to enhance your experience. PLEASE NOTE: We kindly advise against modifications to Chef's Tasting menu selections. Each item is a composed dish that Chef has created. If you are not open to fully experiencing Chef's creative selections; we strongly suggest you order from our regular daily menus.

I would like thank you for the wonderful stay. I am , for the first time, going to make a recommendation. My wife and I had a 6:30 reservation , we we arrived at the bar for a cocktail just before 6 O'clock. I waited about 25 min in a line of just 2 people, the bartender completely ignored me several times as I and another customer waited patiently. after 25 minutes it became embarrassing. So I just left with no drinks. This is the second time this has happened at your bar. All other services were extraordinary and perfect. Thanks for listening. See ya next time. The food was excellent, and our waitress was superb! One of the best waitresses we have ever had anywhere. She was personable and knew about every item on the menu. She was on top of things all the way! The decorations in the bar/restaurant areas were amazing. It was like a winter wonderland! This is the place to come! Oh! And a huge specialty drink menu for the season! Amazing and great drinks!!

Food and service was fantastic! Best chicken parm. It was worth the hour drive, hotel decor is on point and the atmosphere is inviting. Great experience!

Service is always top notch. Brussel sprouts are the best anywhere. Entrees were great as well as desserts. 15/10 recommend

We had a wonderful dinner with friends ! Beautiful restaurant and our server was wonderful explaining the menu and making suggestions ! It was a great evening out !

Thanksgiving buffet. Seated per reservation. Surprised by the presence and noise level of several unruly children, with no parental guidance (of a positive nature), we survived. Buffet food was faie to average, with some exceptions - the prime rib roast was excellent and a deserts of pumpkin pie and cheesecake, also excellent. Our server, George, was great, knowledgable of wine list, very pleasant, available when needed, and quite busy with many tables to assist. The large room we dined in, usually for private groups, quite stark in ambience, and very very bright. Silas is only full service restaurant in Darke County, a rural community. Expectations should be adjusted for said fact.

As you can imagine; this is outside our control and Thanksgiving is certainly a holiday where you can expect large families to gather. I appreciate you pointing out the limited full service options in our region. However, I would like to correct one comment; that our guests should "adjust" their expectations. We strive to create an unparalleled experience for our guests. That could be guests from the surrounding area, New York City, Europe or beyond.
