We are dedicated to celebrating the best in Seafood with traditional South African spices, working with suppliers from all around the country to create our signature Seafood dishes– made with the best quality produce. All our kitchen products are Halal Certified and all the drinks are alcohol free and that’s where our values stand with the exceptional flavourful food.
Shrimp & Co defers to the majority of restaurants, with our concept of having to pay up front. We believe the food should not come on the extra cost of service and that’s why no service charge has been included on your bill but without lowering the restaurant service and overall experience.

Food was disappointing! Seafood was not fresh! Had a platter + grilled salmon..dry! Calamari was dry..hard..could get better from a chip shop! Chips was probs best part of the food. Everything has a second rate peri rub thrown over it so everything tasted the same. Sauces were oily! Peri dip was nice and spicy. Found a long strand of hair on my plastic bib. Then found another on my drink. Attended for a birthday meal. I gave the waitress a cake and candles before everyone got there. After they cleared the table we sat around awkwardly waiting for the cake then decided to leave they then decided to do the cake so I reluctantly sat back down. Only to be waiting again. Was eventually called over to tell me they took the cake out of the box and it was squashed and they had no idea how it happened! So told them to just put it back in the box. Payment is taken as you order and I think this is because they don’t want anyone to refuse to pay/ask for them to comp the meal. Had high hopes for this place..forget the hairs, the cake..the food just was not it! Seafood should be fresh this definitely was not!

Decent good wings had a funny taste but who goes to a shrimp shack for wings my kid does lol the snow crab was pretty rubbish I’ve had better before but the shrimp was legit the sausage was also rubbish but overall not bad will go again but only stick to shrimp

I loved the experience I would go again but the food needed a little more salt or they could have salt on the table.

First time at the shrimp shack and we were not disappointed great food for all even if you don’t want seafood there are many options available. Staff were great and went above and beyond to accommodate our table as we added an extra person last minute. The food is Reasonably priced. My only criticism would be that it is unlicensed and cocktails would have added to the experience. I would highly recommend the shrimp shack and will visit again.

First time here on a Saturday evening. Booked ahead of time, but still had to wait, and not even offered a drink or look at the menu while we waited. There was a ration on napkins and not the right cutlery provided in the buckets. The food came out extremely quickly, which meant that not everything is piping hot. You have to pay before your food arrives, there's no receipt even though I asked for it, heard someone else say the same when they were leaving. Food itself was ok and pricey for just ok. We ordered the shrimp boil which says has 3 types of shrimp, we had the same shrimp, all same size. The rice was lovely but warm like it had been sat out for a while. The chicken wings were nice again warm, amd definitely not crispy. The baked garlic shrimps was nice but far too much sauce, the ciabatta helped sop it up, but again even the bread was cold, lightly toasted and left out. The final item was the all things shrimps with 3 steps. Niece enjoyed her prince's shrimps with the original rub and a garlic butter. Food was ok, some nice flavours let down by the temperature of it all. We also ordered an overpriced can of coke at £3.50, and 2 mocktails at £6.95 which were meh... They were busy so recommend booking in advance for the new social media fad that is seafood boils. We spent almost £90 for 3 people. So fast service, but food quality a little bit of a let down.
