   We visited during the YYC Food Experience. While the food was good, it didn’t quite wow us due to a lack of depth in flavor. The duck carpaccio was tender but overly salty and lacking in other flavors. The braised bison short rib was extremely tender and delicious, while the charred cauliflower was very tasty. However, the grains mix and asparagus were quite bland. Our server’s warm, genuine, and friendly approach made a real difference, one of the best we’ve ever had and truly elevated the experience.

   We learned that Shoe & Canoe offers a theatre-themed dinner with Theatre Calgary plays, as well as free parking at the Delta hotel, so we took advantage. Our server, Melanie, was fantastic. She was fun, attentive, and made our dining experience really enjoyable.  we all had the salad with candied cashews and thought it was exceptional. My company enjoyed the theatre-themed set menu. I had the steelhead trout and thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely go back.

   Amazing food we had lunch and breakfast the next day there. Service was fantastic and the ambience is great in there!

   The food was good. Had the beef tenderloin for my birthday but it was underwhelming. The burgers were a real treat. Waitress was good after the first few encounters. Drinks were good.

   Slow service! Food is just average, nothing special, but prices are on a higher side. Ordered Caesar salad with shrimps and found that they put shrimps with tail on it!(( Server messed up our bill twice. Also they have construction work going on, and all windows are covered with drywall, so you don’t have any window view and they never mentioned this anywhere!

    The space is wide open and very loud and bright. Felt like a warehouse. The food was sub par, more pub like but they were trying for a bit higher end feel. Unfortunately the food didn’t match. I’d suggest just go with a pub/beer joint and not feature it as more than that.
