Had a wonderful experience at Shizukku! From the outside you cannot tell it is a nice restaurant, and this is charming. Food was well thought out and prepared. The appetizers were creative and the sushis were of seasonal ingredients. Service was excellent. 5 Star. Every dish and every drink was explained. It can appear costly for a meal but for special occasion its worth it.

Took my sister here to celebrate her birthday. The service was impeccable, the food was superb and the chef was very knowledgeable - and to top it off they even gave my sister another dessert for her birthday! The whole experience was a perfect way to end off her special day! Would gladly recommend!

Top 5 sushi restaurant in toronto for sure. Perfect service, high-qulity food and interior. If i have a chance, i really wanna go again.

Food was great! Sushi was fresh! Chef Kodie and his staff were very friendly. Great experience and will definitely go back with more friends.

overall it was a good Omakse experience. service was little too much :) they constantly refill your water/tea too often. got little annoyed. the entrance was too open so someone comes in then the natural light hits the interior, bothering your eye. I would put a door screen/partition. anyway, nigiri rice is on the sweet side. The sashimi quality was good. they used good grade uni. no saba, no unagi or anago maybe next time. just one suggestion. put buna shimeji or enokitake or shijimi clams in the miso soup. it was too plain miso soup for an omakase price. will visit again.

Really enjoy the experience here. I love the cozy and elegant atmostphere. The chef and the server are really friendly and caring about my experience. The food is delicious and fresh. Everything is worth for the price. Will come back again!!!
