El Public Kitchen & Bar es obra del Domaine Restaurant's del chef Tim Goodell, está situado en el histórico Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel y ofrece un menú de comida estadounidense ecléctica. El salón comedor del hotel, que reinterpreta el viejo estilo de Hollywood, es un espacio impresionante que recuerda a una casa elegante y acogedora. Excelente pedimos escargots y una ensalada Nicoise buenísimas después un Halibut inmaculado de postre compartimos Profiteroles también de primera Excelente relación calidad precio

Loved the setting. Food and service were great. Little slow in a couple of timings, but not enough to lose any sleep. Casual, yet elegant. Loved it. Great to eat before a show.

Our second visit in one week! Both times we were warmly greeted by Anastasia at the host stand who was always very accommodating and cheerful and just has a wonderful vibe and energy. Our server was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in everything we ordered (lactose intolerance) and was able to make great recommendations. Both times we dined here were before events across the street at the Dolby/Hollywood&Highland center, and Anastasia made sure to communicate to the staff our timeline so we could be sure to be finished with our meal on time. Every dish we ordered was so inventive, beautifully prepared, and so delicious! The persimmon and leek appetizer was amazing, and I’m still thinking about it. This place is such a great spot for a delicious pre-show meal in the area, especially if you’re already planning to park at the Hollywood&Highland center, and the interior of the historic Roosevelt Hotel that it’s part of is so beautiful to see on your way to and from the restaurant.

The staff were very attentive and personable and made my birthday dinner very special. Booth was comfy, lighting was good, food came out quick and was delicious.

We have been to Shirley Brasserie several times and truly love it. The food, drinks and service are seriously top notch with a well rounded, French leaning menu. The restaurant is decorated in classic Hollywood vibes and is situated in the lobby of the famed Roosevelt Hotel. Cocktails were delicious and the bread was warm and fresh baked. For food we had: Charcuterie cheese board, the Shirley salad, a special, fall salad of persimmons and leeks, steak tatare, duck breast, French fries and brussel sprouts. Everything was prepared with super fresh ingredients and the flavors were all perfect. Unfortunately we were too full to eat dessert so the chocolate mousse will have to wait until the next time we are there....probably in a couple weeks. Add this to your list of Hollywood favorite restaurants and thank me later.
