El Public Kitchen & Bar es obra del Domaine Restaurant's del chef Tim Goodell, está situado en el histórico Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel y ofrece un menú de comida estadounidense ecléctica. El salón comedor del hotel, que reinterpreta el viejo estilo de Hollywood, es un espacio impresionante que recuerda a una casa elegante y acogedora. El diseño de planta abierta crea un espacio amplio y luminoso en el que destacan las mesas de nogal negro, las sillas típicas de las bibliotecas de los años sesenta y los asientos largos tapizados. En el centro de la habitación, una enorme barra de mármol ofrece cocteles creativos, una carta de vinos por botella de precio medio, cervezas de barril y en botella y un surtido de carnes y quesos curados.

Excelente pedimos escargots y una ensalada Nicoise buenísimas después un Halibut inmaculado de postre compartimos Profiteroles también de primera Excelente relación calidad precio

The staff were very attentive and personable and made my birthday dinner very special. Booth was comfy, lighting was good, food came out quick and was delicious.

We have been to Shirley Brasserie several times and truly love it. The food, drinks and service are seriously top notch with a well rounded, French leaning menu. The restaurant is decorated in classic Hollywood vibes and is situated in the lobby of the famed Roosevelt Hotel. Cocktails were delicious and the bread was warm and fresh baked. For food we had: Charcuterie cheese board, the Shirley salad, a special, fall salad of persimmons and leeks, steak tatare, duck breast, French fries and brussel sprouts. Everything was prepared with super fresh ingredients and the flavors were all perfect. Unfortunately we were too full to eat dessert so the chocolate mousse will have to wait until the next time we are there....probably in a couple weeks. Add this to your list of Hollywood favorite restaurants and thank me later.

I love food so I don't discriminate on food. Simple dish as the Ceasar salad was fresh and delicous to a richer, decadent, Beef Bourguignon that literally melted in your mouth were all delicous. Be daring. If too cautious the staff is more than willing to help.

This is Old Hollywood at its best. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was magical. If you want to experience fine dining in Old Hollywood, this is the place.

Went for Thanksgiving but was expecting their French menu which was not offered. Wish we would have known. We had our turkey the night before. Food was very good. Servers seemed to be rushed and appeared wishing they were someplace else. We hadn’t even had our drinks and the food was all on our table. Very nice place and I would return. Probably not for Thanksgiving though.

Meal was barely warm. Everything was tasty but barely warm. We had iced tea and it was almost just colored water. When they brought out the apple pie for dessert it was still frozen. I said it should be warm and they said it is kept in the cooler. Out first time here and I’m guessing theirs for Thanksgiving as well just our experience
