Set in the idyllic beachside town of Lennox Head in Northern New South Wales, Shelter is your home away from home, whether you are just passing through or you’re part of the local community. With the community in mind, we endeavor to use ethically sustainable, seasonal products sourced from local producers and suppliers. We are also keen on cultivating and creating awareness of the importance of supporting local growers while educating people about the food they consume as well as where it’s from and how it’s produced. We offer a full service venue from a picturesque beachside ceremony location (across the road), cocktail outdoor area and indoor restaurant with windows folding right back to bring the outdoors in. Our in-house co-ordinator will make preparation for and the running of your day a breeze as we include liaising with the chefs and suppliers, run sheet and coordination on the day. ACCOMMODATION - CUPOLA Recently and tastefully renovated, highlighting the sun from the moment it rises until the stars come out at night, this little nest above our restaurant is the perfect place to stay after your celebrations. Our visit was simple well managed and very enjoyable. The menu was explained to us in Detail with great enthusiasm. We enjoyed the food and a nice glass of wine followed by a coffee very relaxed and unpressured thank you.

Shelter has fantastic food , great relaxed modern vibe and friendly efficient waitstaff, maybe need extra bar staff in busy times.

We loved shelters whole menu, everything flowed nicely on our palate. We can’t wait to come back to try the whole menu. i recommend the porter house , the pork neck & sashimi. Highly recommend Cocktails were superb also.

Outstanding! We sat at the counter and watched the moon rise. Food was excellent, service was fantastic! Was quite noisy but a great atmosphere! We’ll be back!
