Perched atop a rocky cliff on Antigua’s gorgeous west coast, Sheer Rocks is surrounded by vivid scenery, creating a stunning backdrop for lounging in the sun, long tapas lunches, & romantic sunset dining in the evening. There is no shortage of luxury at this exquisite location, featuring linen-draped daybeds and their superb Plunge Pool and Rock Pool, both available for private hire.

Founded in 2010, Sheer Rocks is the original Rocks Group restaurant in a now growing collection of spectacular venues, including both Catherine’s Cafe & Rokuni. Head Chef, Jamal Warner, works alongside Executive Chef Simon Christey-French to create beautiful Mediterranean inspired menus, using sustainably sourced ingredients, making use of the island's best and freshest ingredients.

    Sheer Rocks is located within Cocobay Resort, 5 minutes south of Jolly Harbour, at the turning to FFreyes Beach. Keep to the right and follow road until you reach the Cocobay carpark. Please park, and walk up the driveway to reception. We are located past the Resort&#39;s main restaurant, bar and pool, down the steps and along the cliff.

                                                                                                                                                                                                We have been to Sheer Rocks many times over the years but this time there were several things that detracted from our enjoyment. Firstly, as I say every time, the location is second to none, however this does not excuse having several things that added to our dissatisfaction. We were shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff, as are they all, however it was on the lower deck at the far end with little protection from the sun for two of our party, they used to have curtains that we could have drawn to block out the direct sun. We had to all huddle up on one end of the table so that they didn't get sunburnt. This was the first time our friends had been and they were very excited but this did dampen that a little. Also the menu. Physically it is very awkward and needs to be held open on each page, I much prefer the old menu with rings where you could open to a page and put the menu down without it closing. Also the choice of dishes is much reduced from our previous visits. However the biggest problem was the number of "unavailable" items on the menu. It is a lunch time in high season, 02/01/25, 1pm, so why were so many choices not available? Present us with a freshly printed menu that has everything available, it is 2025 so can be done easily and is always done in a top class restaurant. This place is not cheap and I expect better than this from Sheer Rocks and will seriously consider if it's worth the trip next time. After all, we had to confirm our booking, on line, the day before. At that point they could have warned us that many item would not be available. Sloppy at best, uncaring at worst. Most of the food was very good but the lamb kofta was tasteless and the Eaton Mess tasted like shop bought meringues. It is safe to say we were very disappointed. All the staff were excellent but worth the cost yesterday, it certainly was not. Sorry.

The staff was not neither entertaining nor attentive, so for the high price they charge you would expect different.

                                                                                                                                                                                                I visited Sheer Rocks with my family as a pre-birthday celebration for my brother. The ambience was great a d the views were amazing. After ordering our food, we decided to take some few pictures for our memories and were rudely interrupted by the assistant manager (did not catch his name but he was short man with dreadlocks). He informed us that the food was in our table and he was going to return it if we don’t sit immediately. This was done very abrasively and unkindly. I understand that we needed to get back to the table as our food had arrived but the way in which we were addressed by that man was very condescending. Every other person we interacted with at the establishment was amazing, just this one outlier. He did the same thing to us after our meal was done and I had to say something to him which he responded combatively rolling his eyes. If not for him, I would visit here again. This is no way to treat paying customers.

Service impeccable. And the location & atmosphere 5 star. Was a pricey lunch but worth it.. 5 people with no wine (cocktail jug & water only) was £410.00 as a guide if you want to eat here.

We definitely will be back again. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!!!
