Perched atop a rocky cliff on Antigua’s gorgeous west coast, Sheer Rocks is surrounded by vivid scenery, creating a stunning backdrop for lounging in the sun, long tapas lunches, & romantic sunset dining in the evening. There is no shortage of luxury at this exquisite location, featuring linen-draped daybeds and their superb Plunge Pool and Rock Pool, both available for private hire.

Founded in 2010, Sheer Rocks is the original Rocks Group restaurant in a now growing collection of spectacular venues, including both Catherine’s Cafe & Rokuni. Head Chef, Jamal Warner, works alongside Executive Chef Simon Christey-French to create beautiful Mediterranean inspired menus, using sustainably sourced ingredients, making use of the island's best and freshest ingredients.

    Sheer Rocks is located within Cocobay Resort, 5 minutes south of Jolly Harbour, at the turning to FFreyes Beach. Keep to the right and follow road until you reach the Cocobay carpark. Please park, and walk up the driveway to reception. We are located past the Resort&#39;s main restaurant, bar and pool, down the steps and along the cliff.

The braised short ribs were good, but the snapper was extremely dry, fish soup was missing the seafood described in the menu. All of that would have been overlooked, but there were upcharges on some of the meals, and the prices of our bill were outrageous. And at this price, water was high. The menu price is confusing with a combo of 2 items vs. 3. My Manhattan was delicious but half full and when I asked the Bartender, the response was "This measurement we serve." Even though the staff worked to accommodate & our server Earl was great, the food didn't measure up to the high price." All the other restaurants we dined in during our week's stay had outstanding food for 1/4 of the price. This is our 5th year in a row going to Sheer Rocks and not likely to return.

                                                                                                                                                                                                Beautiful place, they remembered that it was our anniversary and brought us a small treat and glasses of champagne after our lunch, super nice touch. The food was fantastic, a bit pricey but worth it for the ocean view. After lunch we walked the grounds and found a palapa in the sea with easy access and got some gorgeous pictures of the two of us. We completely enjoyed Sheer Rocks and plan to visit again with our snorkels and beach gear to enjoy Valley church beach after lunch. pretty pretty!

We arrived just before sunset and had an amazing table directly overlooking the water. We all had the vegetarian tasting menu, which was excellent! The wine pairings were wonderful and very generous! Highly recommended!

                                                                                                                                                                                                A birthday celebration to remember, a great dinner with brilliant service from wonderful staff. Not cheap, but deliscious. Hard to appreciate the view in the dark, so do think about lunch over dinner if the view is important.

The whine (rose) was not cold. The food also wasn’t very special. Definitely not worth the price.

For the GF guest at our table they sent out a speciality amuse bouche which was a nice touch.
