I loved Shadowboxer (the restaurant that was there before this one) - was hoping it would be similar but was not. The interior is pretty much the same but the vibe is not. The food was ok, but not fabulous, and also a bit pricey for what it was. I will personally not go back though it seemed busy.

Took my dad and sister to Astoria for a family dinner. It was fabulous. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. Would highly recommend Astoria to everyone and will definitely be going back.

The service,food & ambience exceeded our expectations.We felt like we where on a Greek Island and the weather was perfect.Will be returning soon and telling our friends

Great value. Entrees were the best, Youvetsi was delicious but serving size needs to increase, also meat portion was a child's serving Mousaka a fail, eggplant was bitter. Fish, superb. Wine delicious, especially the xinomavro.. Dessert was an absolute hit.. Rizogalo brulee.. OMG, GREAT job guys will visit again.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time! Absolutely lovely. We were a group celebrating a birthday and staff could not have been more friendly! Perfect service and the food - recommend sharing - was simply outstanding! This is our new go-to restaurant! A groovy spot in the heart of South Yarra.

We loved our dinner at Astoria. All of the dishes were delicious, service was impeccable and the ambiance was fun.

The atmosphere was nice and service good although the food was average. We had; lamb which had the texture and taste of home slow cooker meal. Hand cut chips, which were soggy. Greek salad was very average, tomatoes were floury and feta tasteless. We won’t be going back.

Great food, warm and welcoming restaurant with a great atmosphere. Attentive, knowledgeable and happy service. A new favourite for our group. Loved the saganaki, calamari, prawns & the lamb shoulder was delicious. We’ll be back!
