At its heart, our food and service are a center of community. We create the space for memories to be made from childhood to retirement and consider our community to be an extension of the Settlers Bay Lodge family. Memories can be made over dinner, or celebrating in one of our 3 banquet rooms!

Since 2021 Settlers Bay Lodge earned many awards such as ranking in the top 3 for Best; Restaurant, Appetizer, Seafood, Steak, Atmosphere, Company Party Venue, and Place to Go on a Date by the Frontiersman!

Executive Chef, Nathan Michaud has crafted a lovely menu that caters to many palettes. The crispy cajun calamari is a favorite, as well as the hand cut steaks with signature butter! Boasting an expansive wine, beer, whiskey, and cocktail menu a pairing can be made with any dish.

This casual fine dining experience comes with an Alaskan atmosphere adorned by brown bear, moose, caribou, and much more. Community member or traveler, we welcome you with warm hospitality and excellent service!

Come enjoy our full dinner menu and fresh sheet with live music featuring Jerry Wessling at Settlers Bay Lodge! This popular Alaskan artist plays a mix of rock and pop, and will be performing from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM. We hope that you enjoy your dinner while getting to enjoy this live entertainment. If you would like to keep listening after your meal, you're welcome to pop over to our Lounge for an after dinner drink! While we cannot guarantee seating preference, please let your hostess know ahead of time if you would like to sit near or away from the live music. We will do our best to accommodate you! After my first trip here I said I wouldn’t go back but my wife insisted we try it again. The service was better this time but the food was just as mediocre as the last time. They try to put a spin on everything and it ends up being pretentious and weird. My ribeye steak was overcooked and came with their “special butter” on it. I have never seen pink butter before but they figured out how to put every aromatic flavor in it and turn it pink. A grilled steak with a blob of disgusting pink flowery tasting butter is not the way to start a dinner. The seasonal vegetables looked like they had been on a steam table at a cafeteria for hours and were inedible. I could go on but I made my point. I won’t give them a third chance.

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable restaurant. Every part of our experience was exceptional. The waiter was gracious, prompt and didn't miss a beat. We ordered an appetizer, the specials of the day - pineapple halibut and half duck, bay salad, creme brulee, and cocktails. Everything was perfect and delicious. Even the cook made a point of thanking us for being there as we left. This is one of the best restaurants in the Valley. You will not be disappointed.

No bang for the buck! Won't go again. We went for the Valentine's Day prix fix menu. Overall, we were originally excited about the top tier ingredients being used: waygu beef, crab, fresh berries, etc. Unfortunately, execution did not meet the high level of ingredients. Waygu beef brochette was tough. Crab and shrimp bisque had so much potential but was cold and rather bland. My husband loved his duck with blackberry reduction. My prime rib had no crust on it and just wasn't done well. Dessert was very good, as were the old fashioned cocktail....the wait staff was friendly and tried very hard.

Ordered the ribeye took a while to get food & wasn't cooked the way I asked. For the money spent not great. Service could also be better. Their are much better places for the price for sure!

Had a lovely dinner date with my wife at Settlers Bay Lodge, and we had a great time! The specials were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. A perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable evening. Highly recommend!

All my requests were granted. Service, cocktails, and food were excellent. I have only two minor reservations about Settlers Bay: The last half of the KGB highway has not been upgraded like the segment from Palmer-Wasilla Highway to 3 Bears, so the distal half is narrow and poorly marked with no street lights so the drive is dangerous, especially in the rain or when the road is wet. This is obviously out of control of the lodge, but it is something to keep in mind. There are no rugs, carpet, or insulation on the walls or ceiling, so the reflect noise level is high, especially near the open kitchen. If you get a booth or a table away from the kitchen, it is much better. They usually accommodate, so I keep coming back!
