Being Celiac it was glorious to know i can safely eat almost everything on this menu. 5 stars! Wish i had tried this place sooner.

I had such a great time at Selia! I had one of the hamburgers and poutine. The patty was absolutely outstanding and the bun was exceptional. You can have a great burger but if the bun is not good it will ruin everything.. This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! I was super full after my meal but I couldn't leave without trying the onion rings.. I took them to go. They were also amazing. A bit greasy but its deep fried, what do you expect. I will be back for sure!

Our server was great. Overall the food was good. Anything fried was very greasy. Still the best gf fish and onion rings I’ve had in Calgary. Will go back.

Wonderful little gem in the NW. We are celiac family and it was an absolute bonus that the menu is completely gluten free…..without compromising on taste at all! Gluten eaters rejoice- there is a place where your non gluten peeps can eat, but you will enjoy it just as much!! I just need to come and try out the smoothie bar on my next visit! Thanks Selia Bar for a great dining experience!

It was so nice to be able to share a meal out without having to worry about cross contamination of gluten. We both loved our meal calamari was so good. We can’t wait to take friends in future. Great service as well.

Overall the experience was ok. The service was the best part, but it wasn't the best service we've ever had either. The food either came out cold or underdone for everyone at the table. They had no high chairs for kids even though they had a kid's menu, and no change table in the bathroom either. There's very little separation between the bar and the restaurant, the bar had a hockey game playing so it was extremely loud. The server we had was nice but he was the only one serving and the restaurant was full. The food tasted okay, it wasn't the best gluten-free food we've had in Calgary. I think if the food was better it would be worth the price but we ended up paying over $30 a person and it was not worth that.

My husband has a membership at the Edgemont gym and recommended Selia Bar to me as the friend I was dining with has celiac disease. My friend was shocked to see so many gluten free choices on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised that I could not tell that the bun on my chicken sandwich was gluten free! It was absolutely delicious! I am not a big eater so my meal was plenty for me, but I think my husband would have perhaps needed an appetizer to have left feeling full. There was one very friendly wait staff member which was fine when we first arrived but as the Bar got busier, she/they came by our table less frequently. They were very friendly though as stated and being the only one on that day was not their fault. I would definitely go back to Selia again. It’s nice to have a restaurant in the suburbs that is nice and caters to delicious gluten free meals.
