   El lugar y la atención fue increíble, la comida es muy rica, pero también creo que puedes comer igual de rico en un steakhouse y a un menor precio. La experiencia vale la pena.

   No me pareció un restaurant que merezca una estrella, comida mediocre, ninguna atención a la llegada ni luego del postre como suele haber en estos restaurantes. Tuvimos que reclamar el pan. Parecía corto de personal, mucha espera tanto al comienzo como para pagar.No volvería y no lo recomiendo. Muy caro para el servicio y comida que brinda

   I loved the ambiance, the decor, the valet parking, and just the overall upscale experience! The bread was akin to a Yorkshire pudding, very unique, and the beef Wellington was perfect—the meat was so tender and chewable, without a strand of connective tissue. The honey lacquer duck breast was also very nice—the sauce and the garnishes were the highlights. However, unlike the beef, the duck had quite a bit of connective tissues and was difficult to cut and chew sometimes. They have some unique choices of desserts, though I wish we could order them at the end of our meal instead of at the beginning. I enjoyed my profiterole very much though. The service was impeccable. Very courteous and attentive staff. Excellent wait times for food. And the valets were so helpful and friendly. Overall, if you want a refined and upscale (but not overly extravagant) dining experience, I think Selby’s would be a great choice.

   Selby’s is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The lovely, quiet ambiance allows your party to relax and enjoy conversation. You’re greeted outside by the valet and the greeting continues as you check in. The hostess leads you to your table where you’re met by your server who walks you through the fixed price menu. Make no mistake. This restaurant is pricey but the excellent service, delicious food, and extensive wine list make your evening unforgettable. There is also a full bar. The chef sends out a special amuse-bouche to start your meal. We enjoyed the pear and endive salad, petite fillet, lobster, beef Wellington, fruit tart and chocolate cake. Everything was well prepared and presented beautifully. This restaurant located at the edge of Atherton feels like you’re dining in the best SF restaurant.

   Excellent though service was spotty but it might be because we had the price fix dinner while sitting at the bar. The bartender was excellent.

   Food was great but the service was more than excellent. Our waitress, Serena was awesome. Highly recommend because of her exceptional service.

   Jenny, Lawrence and Fredy are amazing, every time we join they are so welcoming. They know what we like and the are one of the best mixologists.

   The experience was off from the start. Although we had a reservation, they seemed unprepared for us and had to set a table while we waited. Then the simple Prix Fix menu was repeatedly explained to us as if we had never dined out before - to an awkward and even insulting degree. The food was good but not great. All in all, not a win for us.
