   Sunday afternoon lunch for 4 persons with varying food tastes. Medium sized menu with broad appeal. Food was excellent in all cases and with good portions. While service was friendly it was a little slow at times but overall this was a most enjoyable experience.

   Don’t get the steak on the stone total gimmick. By the end of my meal the steak I had left was inedible.

   Hi Stephen, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear the steak on the stone wasn’t to your liking. The idea behind this dish is to give guests a unique and interactive way to enjoy their steak, allowing them to cook each bite just the way they prefer. To help with this, we always provide a side plate so the steak can be moved off the hot stone to prevent overcooking. That said, we completely understand this style isn’t for everyone. For guests who prefer not to cook at the table, we’re always happy to have the chef cook the steak to their preferred doneness in the kitchen.    Very enjoyable lunch. Food was top quality and very well priced. We were able to linger over coffee and have a chat. There were four of us and we were all happy with the food and service. The hake special was a generous portion and the steak sandwich likewise. We certainly intend to return and enjoy other items on the menu.

    Our first time there, we went especially for the steak on the stone and wow, it did not disappoint, excellent quality, the steak was a great cut, the staff were excellent. It was great value and we thoroughly enjoyed the place. We will be back again.
