Perhaps, Scelto had an off night? Our wait for water, wine, and food was incredibly long. Our server apologized several times, but serving water and wine needn’t take 15-20 minutes. The food portions were small. The flavors were ok. We’d give Scelto another try, but might check others’ reviews before doing so.

We had a great experience here, very good food. Excellent service. Lasagna is super super super good. We also had the gnocchi, which was great - highly recommend.

Scelto was the perfect mix of downtown energy for a date night. The owner is very welcoming and outgoing in making sure you have the best experience. The food was divine and left us wanting to come back. Definitely would recommend!

We expected an upscale date night & instead it's big, loud & lacks the expected ambiance. It's touted as high-end dining with a business casual dress code, but most diners were in sweats & hoodies. The menu was 1 page in a plastic sleeve, which made us consider leaving. The dipping breads were tasty. We ordered agnolotti as our pasta, but it was sold out, switched to carbonara, it was sold out, so we settled for gnocchi bolognese. The pasta was ok, but the sauce was spicy, taco-like ground meat, not bolognese.Seared scallops with lemon risotto disappointed. No sear on the scallops, risotto was undercooked, but it had good flavor, so I ate 1/2 of it, but only 2 scallops. The short ribs were the star, tender with good flavor. Budino & gelato were both nice, but nothing above average & several things were below what you'd expect for the upscale pricing. We had great service, but the food & ambiance don't match what they're advertising.

From start to finish such an amazing dinner! Our waiter Wynn was fantastic, our food was so delicious and the ambience as well as the decor of the restaurant was out of this world! Everything being made in house was so delicious. I would highly recommend putting this on your list of places to try ASAP! We will definitely be back and be telling others to make sure to go!

We went to Scelto to celebrate our anniversary on NYE and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everyone from the front of house to the kitchen went above and beyond for us and we can’t wait to go back! Our server was one of the best we’ve had anywhere and the owner was delightful. Is it cheap? No. Is it worth it? We definitely thought so!!
