El Scarpetta, creado por el galardonado chef Scott Conant, ofrece un enfoque práctico, pero a la vez sofisticado, de la cocina italiana y propone un menú creativo con platillos de estación. Scarpetta significa zapato pequeño y es también la forma que toma el pan cuando se moja en el plato, una representación del puro placer de saborear una comida hasta el último bocado. Entre las especialidades de la casa cabe destacar las pechugas de pato a la siciliana, los callos de hacha sellados al fuego con tupinambo y el espagueti con tomate y albahaca.

We had an early reservation as we had a show to see that night. It took a while to get a drink order or a food order. We sat for an hour before they even got us the appetizer and it wasn't worth waiting for. We informed the waiter that we had a show at 7 and since the reservation was at 5, that should leave us plenty of time. But, there was a mix up in the kitchen and we never got our dinner. They comp'd the crappy appetizer that we didn't eat and our two glasses of wine. We were very disappointed (and starving) the rest of the night.

One of the most enjoyable meals we have had. From
the time we arrived until we left the experience was entirely positive. A great seat was offered to us. Warm bread with lily, soft butter and another spread. We shared a caprese salad ( plenty for two). My husband had the AGNOLOTTI and I had the TAGLIOLINI AGLI SCAMPI. Fantastic dishes. The perfect amount of food. While we declined to have dessert, as it was my husband’s birthday they brought a lovely treat for us to enjoy.
The sommelier found a wine which suited our price point and our taste. A fantastic wine.

Our waiter, Ron, was perfectly attentive and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting menu and the wine list was amazing. Best oysters I’ve ever had!

I ordered the Gnocchi and it was the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Highly recommend ordering this.
Food came with complimentary bread and dipping bits which was also delicious.
We also had an espresso martini and a rose wine both were great!
I struggled to find a menu online with prices so I took a picture of the menu we received.
